Was disappointed with the lemon shortbread cookies. Shortbread was tender and buttery (reason for the 3) but the lemon icing was so hard it wasn’t edible. Cookies were bought almost a week before the sell by date.

Tried the chocolate donut muffins and they are incredibly delicious! Not too sweet, light but not dry, perfect texture and chocolatey flavor. Can’t wait to try the other flavors, so happy I discovered these in my local Shaws!

Doughnut Muffins -They caught my eye in Fresh Market. At a glance you could think they were doughnut holes but a closer look and you know they are not. I tried them and have been hooked. They are absolutely delicious. They go great with tea, coffee or savory meals. I substitute one or two for toast.

I’ve seen the brand around and never tried anything until recently, and I was clearly missing out because the pumpkin whoopie pies are fantastic. First, all of the ingredients are solid, no weird additives. The pumpkin spice flavor is strong in a good way and just perfect, and the frosting tastes almost like cream cheese but has a lovely buttercream texture and it’s to die for. AND the whoopie pies are not cloyingly sweet like those types of dessert tend to be! Thanks for a lovely fall treat that is just indulgent enough without being overbearing. Also love that they are local in Shirley MA, the same town my friend recently moved to. Now when I visit her I can stop by the bakery! 😁

I have ordered online from this truly spectacular bakery 3 times in the last year, and just ordered this past Friday for myself and my family. We have been staying at home for 8 weeks now and I thought it was time to treat ourselves to some of the remarkable and insanely tasty treats that BisouSweet makes. I ordered their sublime lemon cookies and the scrumptious and powerfully-flavored ginger-molasses cookies, two kinds of biscotti (cranberry/orange and chocolate), two packs of their unbelievably moist and ever-so-chocolate brownies, and some of the linzer heart cookies which almost made my heart stop from an overdose of deliciousness. I also ordered their Hearts for Heroes - a 24 cookie package of the linzer hearts for the wonderful nurses at the Lahey coumadin clinic where I have to go every few weeks. I dropped them off yesterday and within an hour I got a thank-you call from my favorite nurse there who said (and I'm paraphrasing) "they were perfection...just the right proportion of jam to the buttery shortbread cookie and almond piping, and so very fresh, like they were just made." They all loved them and were so grateful for the extra special treat during this horrific world crisis. So, thank you BisouSweet for delighting my family and several hard-working nurses. P.S. I'm hoarding one package of the brownies for myself. And yes, I'm addicted! Will order again and again. Stay safe, everyone, and wear masks when you go out. And big hug to you, Karen for being the most gifted and thoughtful baker that I've ever come across in my almost 75 years!!!

I don’t know what it is that you do to make them so amazing and taste so good. They are so buttery and moist. The sugar and cinnamon ones are incredible. Little pieces of heaven lol! So good!
