These guys have earned my trust back. The son went out of his way to diagnose a complicated issue and since it ended up being a dealership issue, he didn’t even charge me for his time. They couldn’t fix the main issue, but were able to figure out a way to make the car usable and more convenient for me.

I highly recommend Hi-Tec Automotive. I have been bringing my Jeep here for years and it has always been a pleasure to work with them. They are frequently busy but have always done their best to schedule me in quickly. They get the work done right, on time and at a good price. On a few occasions, they were able to diagnose issues and solve with a simple fix and without charging me. They allow me to purchase my own parts and they do an expert job installing them. They are very knowledgeable about jeeps and I enjoy chatting with the owner. Richard Thomas Jr. Update: I recently brought my car in to mount and balance winter tires. They did a great job as usual. They are friendly and courteous. In addition, they fixed a problem with mice getting into my car! Big win. Thanks Hi Tec.

We made an appointment to have the headlights looked at. My friend was met in the parking lot by a rude man who waved him away without even looking at the lights.. he stated they do not do electrical work…my friend blew up at him for not even looking at the car. He felt bad so went back the next day with a six pack to make amends… once again he was rudely waved away with the same man saying.. get out of here… I don’t drink!!! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE… not even human decency!!

Me and my family have been using Hi-Tec for years and they’re one of the best around. When me and my fiancé were looking for cars, they offered to check a few out for us for free. Came in handy, we almost bought a car from a dealer before they found out that a noise we thought might be nothing actually turned out to be a transmission differential bearing. Easily saved us from a $3500 repair bill.

If you value your time and money do not go here. Vehicle was left in parking lot for 2 weeks after appointment date for what was quoted as a 9 hour job to change the transmission. I then began contacted the owner telling him I was having issues with the transmission about a year and a half after install. Now, about 2 years after the install, the owner refuses to fix warrantied Jasper transmission, first claiming I had missed 3 appointments for it. When owner was told I had never missed an appointment for the transmission, owner claimed he had me in the computer for "at least 2" missed appointments but thought it was 3. When asked for specific dates that were missed, owner claimed that all computer logs were deleted at the end of every month so he couldn't give dates. Even after looking up call my logs through AT&T, proving I had only called this business once in the last 2 years and did not have 3 appontments to miss, owner still refused to work on vehicle. Had to go to a third party shop and spend another $1500 out of pocket after the original $3200 for the "warrantied" transmission.

*DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE* If you have made the mistake of bringing your vehicle to this shop get it out as soon as you can! Seriously, I wouldn’t wish my experience with this place on my worst enemy. I’m not one to write reviews, but I really feel I could be doing someone a HUGE favor by warning them about this place. These people had my car for 3 months! I called repeatedly and they always told me the mechanic in charge of my car was out and they would call back, but they never would. Eventually, after months of not having my car, I grew tired of not being updated on my vehicle’s status so I went to the shop and discovered that my car hadn’t moved since I dropped it off. There was tons of snow on my car and a mound of snow/ice surrounding it. It gets worse.. they had left my car unlocked with the key on the driver’s seat! Anyone could have stolen it! I had had enough, so I called my insurance company and had a tow bring it to another mechanic. Finally, I hear back from these guys in the form of a police officer calling my phone! Instead of calling me to ask when I could make a payment they immediately called the police saying i defaulted on payment! Mind you, there was no way I could make a payment the day I picked it up (Saturday) since they are closed on Saturdays/Sundays. I got the call from the police the day after I picked it up. Moral of the story is that this place is horrible and I wouldn’t recommend you leave your car here unless you’re comfortable with it being there for months without any idea of when it will be completed. I had to miss countless days of work and struggled to make it to my military training events. These people ought to be ashamed of themselves, but I know they’re not.. they’re happy to have scammed a veteran. This has been a major setback for me and I hope others do not make the same mistake I did.

Horrible service will never return. Rip off artists trying to take your money. Took 5 weeks to complete 7 hrs worth of work. Was promised free diagnostics and did not recieve them. Never called me for updates. I had to call myself to recieve any updates. Was promised a date of completion. Went in to pick up. Still was not completed and no call was given. Missed time from work.
