I truly miss United Bank. This merger is a mess, I can't get access to my online banking, and have been on hold for 4 hours now, waiting for someone to help. I would not recommend this bank to anyone!

So I went in to cash in some change sense it's a BANK. First thing the would not except unless it's rolled ok no problem I'll legit sit there and roll pennies in a freaking bank I had 35 cents left and wanted to exchange the pennies for a quarter and a dime NOPE! Legit got attitude unbelievable a feeling BANK that I've been loyal to for many years

Lots of hidden fees and time consuming problems every time they merge with another bank. I can confirm customer service isn't good.

Would be nice if they were open later as my work hours conflict with the banks hours. Closing at 12 on a Saturday?? Really???

Parking is a disaster and the only reason I gave a 3. When it was United Bank, Security sat in their vehicle to stop non customer parking. Now that it is Peoples United, 3/4 of the no parking signs have been removed. Back parking area is always close to full & used by neighboring restaurants and business' . I have 6 accounts there and my business account. When I complain inside, the tellers are to the point , they are speachless as they know it is a big problem. Customer service inside is a 5 , But due to parking I had to reduce it to a 3. I hope this review gets the parking improved !!!!

BANK ELSEWHERE! Since theychanged to peoples united its not even worth banking here anymore, customer service is not great, i called to report my card missing he asked why didnt call the number on the back of the card to report it... They removed all ATM i can use fee free and the ONE atm they have in town is out of service constantly. Pretty tired of having to pay 3+ dollars to access my own money. I will be swicthing banks.

United Bank was the best, I've been with them for about a decade. After the merger, the worst. I started working for a new company and deposited my first check. They said it's suspicious and for too much money. Seriously!? Almost two weeks now and they have been holding my money. My employer confirmed that the money has been taken from his acct the day I deposited the check. They haven't contacted the business I'm working for nor Bank of America, who is the holder of the acct. What is this!? I will be contacting an attorney.

What a dump of a bank. Used to be great when it was united bank however the bank quickly lost its way when it was bought out by peoples. New bankers can look forward to things such as security compromisation, long hold times, difficult call center representatives, and 0 empathy on any issues they may have. United used to be a local bank with ties to the community. Now I am zeroing my balance and opening with a new bank. I am not even difficult to please nor do I write reviews. However I just had a real hard time getting a replacement bank card and then was hung up on by the "call center" supervisor. This one's for you Barbara.

Worst customer service ever. Waited in the drive though for almost an hour and then once I got to the service window I was not greeted. Instead the employee asked me if he is suppose to guess what account number it’s going in. Super rude. I understand we’re in a pandemic and everything is crazy but the least you can do is have good customer service.
