When I see a new menu item that seems interesting at a restaurant that typically never disappoints I had to make a trip to Cracker Barrel to try the new Kick'n Ranch Fried Chicken and fried pickle chips. Unfortunately the latter was only available as a full order and not as a side upgrade which was disappointing. I expected more of a kick given the zesty ranch seasoning and buffalo ranch sauce drizzle. The spice was underwhelming and bone in chicken is a tad difficult to dip into a tiny portion cup of pickle ranch. The sizes of the pieces seemed small and were either over cooked or cooked in older oil as the batter was really dark and a bit greasy. This concept would be better executed as chicken tenders not bone in chicken. I asked for biscuits and cornbread with honey but only got biscuits with jelly. The Mac n cheese and steamed broccoli sides were as expected. The waitress was attentive but seemed rushed and maybe a little overwhelmed or spread thin although it didn't seem overly busy. The veggie plate and kids pancakes were received well.

This was the first time We went to a Cracker Barrel restaurant. It was a thoroughly enjoyable Dinner. The meal itself, was Very tasty and came Well prepared and hot. But what made the meal most enjoyable, was our server, Emilee. She was a delight. Even the manager Came to Our table And made us feel very welcome. It is definitely a place I would recommend to anyone For a Great meal With enjoyable staff.

I always have a great meal here. I love the breakfast anytime of day. But I want to say that they were very accommodating to me and my ESA dog. They seated me away from others as I had asked. though that whole section was empty the waitress

Had to wait 15 min to sit. I get it for a Sunday, When we ordered everything at same time took a hour to get food. Our waitress was good but the kitchen needs help. My country fried steak and okra was burnt. The only good thing was the biscuits.

The kitchen was very slow. When the fried okra came, it was barely warm. I ordered warm peach cobbler with ice cream after our meal. I waited, seemed like 30 minutes. In Togo containers. I had also ordered breaded catfish, they came out grilled. My husband liked his meal. And most of the sides were good . But they were out of greens.

I have been to many Cracker Barrels across the U.S. I like the consistency and just the general feel of comfort food when I am traveling. I can feel that the current state of the economy and lack of labor is taking its toll on many businesses, and this is one of them. Maybe this isn't so much a review of Cracker Barrel per se, and more a reflection of the times or maybe this particular store Either way, this was the first meal I've had at Cracker Barrel that left me less than satisfied. They seemed short staffed and the quality just wasn't what it usually is. If you've never been to a Cracker Barrel, don't let this dissuade you. They are definitely worth a visit if you want chicken and biscuits, or mashed potatoes or apple cobbler or a great breakfast. I just think it's not like it was, and for a place that I relied upon for consistency, that is a bummer.

I ordered the 2 piece chicken breast meal with green beans and mashed potatoes through Door Dash today. I will admit that I was not a fan in the past. Today you changed my mind because of the DELICIOUS food and excellent service from Cracker Barrel. The food was great and there's a lot of it. Enough for me to eat for 2 days! Also, I received 2 buttermilk biscuits and they were fluffy, moist and DELICIOUS!! Give them a try. I did and I'm sooo happy I did.

I've never been to this particular cracker barrel before. We walked in on a Good Friday and got a seat right away. We got our drinks right away and our food came fairly quickly from the time we ordered, and the staff was always available, whenever we needed them and was constantly coming back checking in with us. Oh no! We said we were there on Good Friday and there was a lot of people in there but they still were constantly checking tables. Do you need anything you want anything?.

If I could give this place a zero star rating I would. The most nastiest place to absolutely work. The most unprofessional place mangers treat you with absolute disrespect, and spread so much drama throughout the store . There is dirt in the ice machines, they have mold in the drain. The broccoli had a grasshopper in it . They let food sit and then serve it to guest. Thanksgiving they served food out of trash bins (yes they were clean) still nasty . Dirty band aid on the break room counter . Trash left in the employee bathroom. Cooks don't wear hairnets , mask, or gloves. The prep station where your salads are nasty grill line absolutely nasty wouldn't be surprised if roaches are in there. Not to mention there was a large metal piece found in a guest meatloaf. Along with a spider found in the dumplings. ETC trainer had covid made my families food and took off her mask because she "couldn't breath" gave my mom sister and pregnant sister all covid. Let her come back after like 5 days. One of the workers had covid while working and it spread to other employees. Mangers walking around with disposable vapes in their pockets. Cooks go out for smoke breaks won't wash there hands after coming back and go make food. They don't check the dates on the expired milk and they have been served to multiple guest. Old cornbread is turned into corn bread dressing for the turkey dinners. Raw meat has been served to guest. One of the cooks wearing a wire beater and a piece of his armpit hair was in the food. Black mold in dish room ceiling. Asking minors to clock out and finish their side-work unpaid. Ever wonder why the lemonade taste gross? Well that's because it's days old with fermented lemonade all on the sides dropping in the lemonade stirring all up. All over a terrible place to eat and work at. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSE WHERE!!

My chicken fried chicken meal was superb. My wife's roast beef was tough and smaller than usual, same we suspect they must have been close to running out of that dish.
