Went in for some Halva. Which I found though it was a couple dollars more than it was last time. It tasted good but was much more crumbly and messy than I'd ever had before mostly because of a dryer consistency. I also purchased some baked meat pies which were supposed to be at a discount however I was charged the full price. That's never happened before but it did this last time so watch your prices and your bill just in case. But normally, I've had great success at this store and you can buy your cream of wheat, farina, no it is possible I did not spell that correctly here, and bulger wheat, the main ingredient in tabboule, in bulk, which is awesome.

It doesn't have a wide selection of fruit and vegetables. It does have a large selection of fresh Meats. They prepare food and keep it for sale way to long. Do not buy anything from that cooler. But if you need a gallon of milk and some snacks it's okay.

What they do well... They are friendly and have a reasonably good selection of goods from the Mediterranean, Middle east and beyond. The baked goods are not horrible, but nothing to write home about either. It is certainly not the place I would send someone to to pickup prepared Middle Eastern food... I purchased garlic sauce and I had to add several shredded toes of garlic to make it have any garlic taste. Shawarma meat w Marinade was relatively bland. It is way worth the effort to head to Dearborn to get the real thing in my opinion

Great little store with a bakery for fresh made Naan type bread, cheese bread, stuffed bread. They also have a halal market inside. The gentleman working the meat counter was so friendly. They also carry a nice selection of spices, coffee and international groceries. A great find

The staff was super friendly and helpful and gave me mini vegan spinach pies to try for free! They were incredibly delicious. The pita bread is also amazing and they have a great variety of foods, spices and other goods which are very reasonably priced- if not one of the best deals you can find. If you need ingredients from other regions, such as dal or masala/spices from Indian, this place has it too. Now that I know how lovely it is, I’ll definitely be coming regularly!
