Well organized and good discounts! Self checkout line was very long, only two cashiers available at 9pm. Felt a little cramped in line, wish there would have been some social distancing stickers or enforcement.

The older manager here was completely rude and aggressive. We had a small group waiting on ride today. All the managers in a hoard came rushing out and told us to leave and we couldn't camp out front. There is a army vet in our group. Another has a disability. I will never shop at this store again. They have no idea what we have just gone through just trying to get home.

As a new parent I have a serious problem with the lazy, misleading, and sometime deceitful way that push sales in the baby dept. Constant mislabeled sales causing me to debate with a cashier and shows pictures of the idiocy. You label something 30% off then stack the wrong products above and below that on you.

I was trying to return unopened sealed baby formula when there is a shortage and other babies need it. The manager wouldn’t return it and said “ we changed our policy in the shortage and we can’t return them or else we would trash them” what is this rationale? Like seriously!! How absurd!! I wouldn’t recommend this store. Very bad customer service!

I want to start by saying that I always loved this Meijer. I’ve spent tens of thousands of dollars there, and so it’s sad how far it’s gone down hill. There are still some polite people that worked here but after ages of not coming in the past year, I went to grab a couple items since I was nearby. Meijer prices ring up wrong at least 20% of the time for me lately, so I go to the scanner to check stuff. The scanner didn’t work and the most impossibly rude person on the planet, named Mary, who was dressed as a manager… well I asked her to help me since the scanner wasn’t working. Meijer price scanners are frequently out-of-service so I asked her to check prices on three items. She said…. Just use the scanner…. I told her it wasn’t working, and was saying “item unavailable”… she told me it was just one item, even though I assured her I’d scanned each item and all had said the same. She scanned the items herself and finally says “oh, it must be offline”.., keep in mind her tone was horrific through all this. Then she asks me why I didn’t just read the shelf tags. She asked me this three times! The lego I found wasn’t even in the lego aisle, and I’m including a photo of the transformer section, which I actually tidied up because it was so bad. Then she tells me the prices. The two that were in the right section did NOT ring up correctly. I’m at a loss. How desperate are they to hire someone like this? Now on to Payment. I go to pay and I had a $10 credit. I start using it and it cashes out my transaction $6 into checking out, even though I didn’t press anything to initiate that. Neither did the cashier who was hand typing in a clearance code for me. She, at least, was apologetic, but made zero effort to credit me the other $4 from that credit. Prices are ridiculous at Meijer now. It was once called “Meijer thrifty acres”, and now they charge more for regular items than any of the competing stores, including Busch’s and fresh Thyme and Kroger. Green mountain coffee is nasty, and the 12 k cups at Kroger are $5.99. They charge almost $3 more at Meijer. I just don’t see myself going back. The bottle return closes at like six pm…. At least last time I went…. I just can’t anymore. Terrible prices, terrible customer service, nothing where it should be… what less could someone expect?

This place is fantastic and very well laid out. It's stocked and clean. Every department has this cool and unique main street market feel. The bakery here is awesome too. I noticed no changing rooms?
