We rented at this location for over a year. Rates were increased on us from our original price of $75 a month to $200 a month so we decided to move out and into another unit at a different company. I let the manager know that I would be moving out before the end of the month and she told me I was all set. When the next month came in December I was charged another $200 for rent. I called the store and they forgot to close my account and stop autopay so they told me I would be refunded. Instead of being refunded I was charged ANOTHER $200. So now $400 missing. They then voided one of the two payments but never refunded me for the first payment. After multiple calls to the store without them answering I had to try and call other locations to help me. Finally I got ahold of someone from my store and asked for corporates number to which they told me they didn’t have it. I googled it and found it myself. Corporate gave me the run around and the store told them I wasn’t entitled to a refund because I didn’t move out till December 17. This was a lie, they just didn’t close my account till that day because they messed up, I moved out the day before thanksgiving. It is now April and I have called the store many many times to get my $200 back and nobody ever returns my phone call when they say they will. I was promised a refund from Melissa that would come in check form but it “had to be cleared by corporate” first and that I could see it in a few weeks. Another employee even read me emails between Melissa and their district manager that I should get the refund and I still haven’t. This same employee then told me “the district manager is a very busy woman and runs so many stores and she doesn’t know when she will be able to call me” she never called. The check never came. So basically they stole $200 from me.

Melissa the Property Manager Has to be the best ones that I have ever met. From the beginning though the end of my visit she ensured that all of my needs were met. I highly recommend that if you have storage needs that you stop by and see her. You will not be disappointed. Highly maintained facility and a awesome manager.

To start, I easily reserved my unit online at the Farmington Hills location (Sinacola Ct.) Shortly thereafter, I received a phone call from the leasing manager, Melissa, to confirm my reservation. I was already at the location trying to park while on the phone with Melissa. Melissa let me check out the unit to make sure it would be adequate for my needs, as I was scheduled to move in on Feb 1, 2019, which was still a few days away. I arrived on Friday, Feb 1st for move in and was extremely early. Melissa not only met with me hours before my appointment, but she put her lunch aside to accommodate me! She was very pleasant, kind, thorough and knowledgeable. The facility is clean, secure and very well lit at night. I wholeheartedly recommend this location.

I'm so happy I found this storage unit! It's clean and safe, plus the Manager Melissa was awesome. She allowed me to switch to a larger unit when the first one was too small with ease. I also like the fact that there are quite a few hotels nearby with good rates.

I was in a really tight situation and needed a unit with a lot of space and didn't have a whole lot of money. Melissa saw what unit I was interested in and asked me what I was going to be storing and told me that even though it was a little bit more money that the larger unit would be better for me and easier to access. I had to make arrangements for my mom to go in in my place to sign all the documents and take the initial delivery to the unit and Melissa was very accomodating in helping make the process as smooth as possible. She even called to let us know that we had locked the unit wrong the first time and left a message requesting that we call her back so that she knew we got the message because she was concerned about the security of our belongings. Overall Melissa is fantastic and I would recommend this place to anyone because of the personal touch she added to the experience we had with her.

The customer service here is spectacular! My husband and I are in the process of moving currently and your employee Melissa is always very helpful whenever I enter the store. It has helped make the move so much less stressful knowing that my stuff will be taken care of and if I need anything, I only ever need to ask her. She always answers any questions I may have and is never rude or short with me. 5 stars and a customer that will be returning if I need to store anything in the future!
