I needed a dress for a special occasion because the dress that had been ordered from a different vendor came in unwearable & the event was in 3 hours! The employee was absolutely wonderful. She helped me find a dress that I could wear that day and for many other occasions. Excellent service is the best reason to pay a little extra.

Over the years I have found Mc Clutchey's of Indian River a life saver!!! I am a larger woman and have trouble finding quality bathing suits but not since I discovered Mc Clutchey's!!! A hidden gem for quality clothing in Northern Michigan! I found McClutchey's a few years ago on a trip through Indian River and make it a regular stop when I am up that way. (At the same time I discovered Blooming Ideas so it makes the visit twice as nice). I had passed by this shop many times and never thought to stop in but when I did I was amazed at the both the amount of stock they carry and the price range. Something for everyone. They carry Columbia, Pendleton, Woolrich, Vera Bradley, they have shoes, sweaters, jackets, baby clothes, jewelry, purses........deep breath..... in other words, plenty to look at! I am a huge fan of Woolrich and Pendleton so I would be happy just looking at all the yummy woolens. The people are small town friendly, not at all pushy, so it feels very comfortable to stay awhile and shop. As I wrote in my review for Blooming Ideas across the street, this is a great Ladies day out destination. I also like to lunch at Vivio's and stop in to the quilt shop:) Enjoy! (I know you will)
