I took my skid steer in. The auxiliary hydraulics were not working. They kept me informed every time something changed or had progress. They never left me in the dark about what they were doing. This is normal practice for them. I highly recommend them. Service: Electrical

I had them totally flush my fuel system on my 2006 Dodge Diesel due to me messing up at the BP on Polk RD and putting gas in it. I'm from down state by Lansing and could not find anyone near me to do the work and my truck broke down in Ludington. Thank God my good friend new of Mears Service Center so I called them. We really rely on Mears service. My husband is disabled and we can count on Mears to take great care of us!! They service our car and our motorhome. We have a Cummins diesel engine in the MH and Mears services is great! All aspects including our generator and anything else we ask of them!! Great guys to deal with too!

My car had a mishap on some gravel. We were out of town and had the car towed to Mears. They were very Professional taking care of my car and getting it fixed in a timely manner even though I was 3.5 hours away. Thank you!!!

Dropped off my truck the day before my service date. I was told that I should have it back mid afternoon, no problem. That afternoon at 4pm I had not heard from the shop. I called and they said that the earlier vehicle before mine took longer. No one called to let me know that I would not be getting my vehicle that day which was huge for us. We have kids to run around, I had a Doctors appointment the following day in the am and one child had an appointment as well. I had to burn a vacation day. A simple phone call would have been nice. Once I got the vehicle and arrived home, I notice greasy finger prints on the interior drivers side door that had been poorly wiped off. I had also asked that if they could rotate and balance the tires. They discovered two nails in a tire and I asked them to replair. The next day they called to let me know the truck was finished and I had asked if they had any issues and if they had done the tires, the gentleman said no and wasn't sure why, but they would get on it....I said I'm on my way up. I get there and had to wait, I'm guessing another 30 minutes. You know, first impressions count and customer service is what makes your business. I've certainly heard good things and read them in reviews as well but this experience wasn't pleasant for me. Note, I was there to have my plugs replaced, coolant system flush, tires rotated and all fluids checked. One full day and a quarter....a vacation day used and it wasn't cheap but, you get what you pay for, yes?

Went to have a Boss plow installed on my truck. While in the shop they did a vehicle check up and noticed I was in need of an oil change and my horn was not working. They called to see if I would like the service done while it was there. The cost was competitive, the only difference was the was the friendly folks were willing to bend over backwards to make sure I was happy. Thank you Joel Service: Oil change

I love Mears Service. I just had my oil changed but for Feb/Mar this year they offered a free tire rotation and brake inspection with an oil change which was a tremendous value. They always do an excellent job. They also recently added text updates that gives you progress reports on the service - very high tech. They are a very well run business.
