I had to ask for someone to check my tire pressure. Had my husband check my fluids when I got home and Transmission fluid was low and brake fluid was low. Also looks like I need a half a quart of oil 🤷♀️I was a loyal customer of Vans but not coming back to this place. People were nice. Service: Oil change

They are so quick and cheap. It’s an in and out service and when they didn’t have a part for me they allowed me to purchase it and installed it for free. I really appreciate the effort! Definitely my #1 place to go!

Had an oil change done in my 08 tahoe ltz, less than a week later I started getting no oil pressure turn engine off code, there is no viscosity in the oil they gave me. I now need a new engine. Would highly recommend anyone to keep driving when they see this place on the side of Sherman Blvd.

Was a good place to get car washed. Won't do again for reasons below. 3 years later and change in ownership (I like to think is the reason) I had TERRIBLE service, or lack there of. I arrive for an oil change (which I have gotten done regularly since ownership change) Saturday, July 16 at 3:54 pm. 2 cars are in stall ahead of me getting their oil changed, 1 car pulls out at 3:59. Instead an employee acknowledging me, one way or another, he proceeds to close both stalls, turns the open sign light off and then goes out this side door and leaves with his head "intentionally" down and never looking my way. At 4:07 the 2nd car pulls off and instead of the employee acknowledging me, maybe like "we are closed now but please come back again," he locks up the building without ever looking my way and drives right past me and leaves. Right then I went directly to Autozone and then went home and changed my own oil. For this reason, the lack of customer service, to not even acknowledge me, I will no longer get my oil change at Performance Plus (Formally Van's). At the least someone could have approached me and said they were done for the day taking cars and at best, as soon as I pulled up instead of letting me sit there while 2 other car's are getting their oil changed they could have informed me immediately instead letting me waste my time sitting there. If this is how the company does business now, I choose not to use their services again.

We stopped by later in the evening to use the vacuums. They were only 50 cents and were super strong! Great for cleaning up sand after visiting the beach. Update to say I have no experience with the car wash or oil changes here but the vacuums are great!

Worst car wash ever! They used to do the windshield, back window, and tires with a brush before you go through. I guess they don’t do that any more - just sent me right through. Apparently the rinse does not work and there was no blower at the end! I exited with a wet, soapy car that was still dirty! The windshield and front grill area are not only filled with bugs, but there is still road filth/grime all over. Nothing is clean, nothing shines… save your money, go somewhere else!

I noticed oil leaking onto my garage floor from my older model RAV4 and thought it might be something serious. Ran over to Gene's Auto Repair on Sherman, and they told me the oil cap was missing and oil had blown all over the engine. They spotted the oil cap caught down in the engine compartment and were able to put it back on. A week and a half earlier, I had taken the RAV to what used to be Van's for an oil change. No one has been under the hood since then, so I am sure that the cap either wasn't put back on or was not properly put back on when the oil was changed. After having more oil added at Gene's I headed to the oil change place to see what they could do. The short answer is, very little. They gave me a free basic car wash coupon and some pads to soak up the puddle in my garage. I didn't notice the oil problem for a week and a half because I haven't been driving much lately. I feel fortunate that I didn't have an engine fire and that there's nothing wrong with the RAV. Still, since I was out $12 for new oil and had a mess to clean up, I asked for a complimentary oil change coupon. Nope. The manager said because it had been a week and a half since the oil change, there was nothing more they could do. From now on I'll go to Gene's for my oil change. I should add though that the woman running the car wash was great. When I explained what happened, she authorized a free deluxe wash and told me to use the coupon later. She also had the worker give the engine a quick wash. So I'll go back for car washes but not for oil changes. BTW, I had been a loyal customer for years. Service: Oil change

I used to give this place a better score. I do still like the carwash but I am disappointed with the service of the quick lube side especially after the last oil change for my truck. What is normally a quick job took over 30 minutes because the tech couldn't figure out how to remove the oil filter around the factory skid plate. Once they did finally figure out how to remove it instead of putting rags or anything down like other techs have in the past it looks as if they just let it drain onto the skid plate. The last few days it looked like I was dripping some oil and couldn't figure out where it was coming from until I checked the filter and it was loose enough I could by hand tighten it almost a full turn. Needless to say I will not be going back to get my oil changed here anymore.
