A year ago I was diagnosed with maculate degeneration by a opthamologist. The opthamologist never took the time to explain what that all meant to my future eyesight. So I made an appointment at America's Best for contacts and eyeglasses. I explained to Dr. Mark Ventocilla that I was diagnosed with maculate degeneration. He took the time to do a test so he could explain the disease to me. I was scared that I would eventually loss my eye.sight (I was in tears and stress). Dr. Mark took the time to explained everything to me which relieve me of all that pressure and stress. Not very often you find a Doctor with compassion like that.

Holy guacamole this office was amazing! All of the staff were extremely nice and the doctor was so kind! I didn’t feel rushed at all and he really took the time to make sure everything was right. I would recommend this office for eye care to everyone!

WISH I HAD THE OPTION OF NO STARS HONESTL one of the Worst experience ever. My family and I went to get our daughter some glasses. This was a 330 on Friday(3_11_22) afternoon, upon arrival we were greeted by a women who was leaving and couldn't be bothered to spend a few min to assist us. So she passed us on to her busy co workers which means we waited for an availability, but we were atleast told to try some glasses on as we sat and waited. One of the workers was loud, distracted from her customer and felt it more important to tell a guy across the room he looked ridiculous in his glasses and that he looked like he had one eye brow. They laughed and then carried on roasting this older gentleman instead of the people they had in front of them. Mind you all this is being yelled from one area to the other. We also had one lady walking around in a fog showing picture of her family instead of assisting us. Only one person was showing true customer service but you could tell with all the hysterics behind him was distracting. I will never be back it was the most unprofessional environment and I couldn't confidently trust that they had my daughters eye needs at heart. LAKERSHORE EYECARE is where we went and I'm so please with our choice.

Had some scheduling issues but they were made sure to fit me in after a computer glitch didn't save my appointment. In and out in 40 min for a regular eye exam and glasses shopping/fitting. Dr and assistant were really nice too. Especially loved how they sanitized every pair of glasses you tried on before and after trying them on. Got a call less than a week later they were ready for pickup, they made sure they fit and didn't slip off. I'm pretty happy with my experience and appreciate the covid precautions they were taking.
