To leave a review means to be honest about the restaurant. The macaroni was absolutely fantastic. The greens were delicious like how my granny make them and the yams was the best I've ever had. Nice buttery and sweet.. The workers are nice and have great customer service. This is a place to come to for thanks giving for sure if you don't feel like cooking. This is the place to come to when you want a home cooked meal. I am impressed.

I only thought this way of running things was in back alley hole in the wall places!!!! First & last time here!!! Needs trying business Skills prior to public dealings! The young man that is a waiter is a real joke!! People that think this place is great. has low expectations n feel they don't deserve BETTER!! I walked out!!! &will never even think of coming back!! First n last!!!!!!

This is what their pot roast looks like smh It’s looks very uncooked and like some type of dog meat maybe. Not to mention Worse Mac I’ve ever had from a “Soul food” restaurant! If I could put zeros I would. I do NOT recommend this place at all. The cornbread was even terrible I should’ve took a picture of that but I threw it away soons I opened the food smh. For $46.64 I could’ve went to Motor City soul food in Detroit and got better food for that high price. The only item they seem to not mess up was my greens. So for the people who’s spending again I do not recommend especially if you’re going for pot roast or Mac and cheese. To management or ownership if you guys see this. Plz do better taste wise or higher new cooks or find a new recipe because this is terrible. I almost wanna call and get a refund or something. But I’ll take the L today. It’s my fault for trying new stuff instead of sticking to my original place

Service was great, staff was nice, place was clean. The food was very salty to me, got greens and black eyed peas as sides. Catfish was good and not Uber cooked. My husband got corn and sweet potatoes and I could see that there was way too much sugar in both of those choices…. And I was correct. He loved the oxtails. Just make sure your high blood pressure and diabetes are under control.

Like many other places, the food is overpriced. The quality is good but the owners refuse to reinvest profits to make it more comfortable for customers and staff. A bigger, roomier restaurant would alleviate customers having to wait in hot, humid weather in Summers. Tasty food but awful environment.

OMGoodness! This food was delicious. Everything tasted like a little piece of heaven. I was able to eat on the servings all night long and it taste the same every time. No change in flavor profile and the staff was wonderfully friendly. Features: They ask that you wear your mask in the establishment.

My husband and I went to Mookey’s on our lunch break back in October for the first time. Everything was great and the food was So Good 🤤 That they also Catered half of our Thanksgiving Dinner this year.So if you haven’t gone to mookey’s yet What are you waiting for? Trust me guys You won’t be disappointed

I am impressed. My 1st time eating food from this location. I ordered the Smothered Pork Chop dinner. If you want old-fashioned dressing this is the place to get it from. The dressing is prepared with turkey cooked within the dressing. The Mac & Cheese is on point. I enjoyed how the Pork Chops looked, was not very fond of the chops were not tender. By this I mean, the chops appear to not have been slow cooked in the gravy to soften the chops. Overall, I will come back again.

Totally dissatisfied I cook a lot and good might I add. This was not to my liking, they charged me $64 For 2 dried out short rib dinners and one extra side. The meat was rubbery, greens had to many stems, dressing was dry. Never again!!!! First time and last!!! They made me cook my on soul food down below you want something done we have to do ourselves
