We are never disappointed when we eat at St. Ignacio Truck Stop! Excellent breakfast food, great coffee, and spot-on service. This is diner food as it should be. Nothing fancy, but hot, cooked to your request, and served with a smile.

Table of 4. We had an omelet, a turkey club, a hamburger and a turkey rueben. Nice size helpings. Great food. Busy little place. Been coming here for years when traveling. Always see friendly faces. Thanks to everyone there for a pleasant dining experience!

We usually try to eat here about 4 times a year and have always had good food and service. ...until today! The food was just barely warm and I hate cold eggs! My husband's scrambled eggs were paper thin. Small portions compared to the tons of other times we ate here. Was VERY disappointed !!!

We had dinner here on July 20th on our way to pictured rock. Place is busy and food is perfectly cooked, well seasoned and smoked. We had fish and chips. We are well satisfied because we know what the best fish and chips are and this is one of the places you can get real fish and chip taste. Highly recommend for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Here, Pasties available too, the signature dish in Michigan. A big portion size.

This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend who said he had a good whitefish dinner there. So, being in the area, we stopped and gave it a try. I am a big fan of whitefish, so I had the whitefish (broiled) dinner. It included a choice of sides (I had a side salad, it was fresh and crispy), choice of potato (I chose baked), a vegetable dish (corn), a nice dinner roll, and lots of butter. Everything was nicely prepared, plain and simple, with nice-sized portions -- a very complete and satisfying meal! I was very pleased with the whitefish, the chef had seasoned and broiled it to perfection. My wife had the walleye fingers, her dinner contents were basically the same as mine, except she ordered mashed potatoes which she was sure were made with real potatoes. She wasn't ecstatic about the breading on the walleye fingers. She got a generous portion so I got to try a couple. The fish was good but I agreed that I had had better breading. I imagine that this is a matter of personal taste, you may find them to be just fine. The restaurant was very busy when we visited. The cooks and wait staff really kept things moving. Although there were some signs warning that there might be delays due to being short-staffed, I think that their efforts kept the delays to a minimum. My commendations to them! The restaurant has an extensive menu and I saw many other choices that looked very interesting. I'll be anxious to return and try some of them!

Usually 5 stars but yesterday was the worst breakfast experience we've ever had. We watched in amazement as people who showed up after us got service and got served their food before us. We had to literally get up and walk out. Tried to pay for my one and only cup of coffee I was able to get. And they said it's on the house. Looks like a carnival closed down and they hired all the carnies. We're going to take a good look around the place next time we go... If we go.

Stopped here for a late lunch. The food was delicious, coffee hot and good tasting, service was excellent, and our waitress very friendly. The food was homemade. Real butter served and half n half on the table. The trucker's omelette was so large I have enough for tomorrow's breakfast! I even got a coffee to go. The restrooms were clean. We certainly will stop by again!

Food was perfect. The manager apologized after the meal for the wait, which I didn't think was excessively long considering how busy they were. Will definitely stop in again when we're in the area.

Excellent all the way around. Great prices, good food with hearty portions. We eat there maybe once a week. Always busy this time of year, but worth the wait. Today I went out to get breakfast for Father’s Day for my boyfriend. Place was packed. Not only was the breakfast wonderful as always, but even with two large parties waiting to be seated, and the staff obviously very busy, just have to say, Dena is always so cheerful, attentive and such an asset to this restaurant. You’ll want to stay to eat , however, we got off work in the early morning hours and I wanted to bring him breakfast home from his favorite place and let him sleep a bit more. Dena not only remembered his usual order but took it with the same smile as always. Thank you so much! Local or traveling … can’t recommend this place enough ! A must stop on your way up north !
