After no one could fix my bike this place did! I’ve been out of a bike since covid started. Super affordable and it was fixed on schedule. This repair shop is super busy and that’s because they do good work not try to scam you into buying a new bike like the 3 other shops I went to. Anyone that has left a bad review I find highly questionable. My father has been taking our bikes here forever and I will continue to do so as well. Thanks for fixing my bike and getting me back on the road!!!

Tried Tim’s for the first time last week to have the inner tube on my wife’s bike replaced. Tim the owner was nice, helped us load and unload the bike from the bed of our truck, and charged us only $16 parts and labor. Will definitely go back for more service work.

The bike shop itself gives off a good vibe, the employees are personable and respectful and seem to have a good working relationship, but if you want anything in regards to fast service, or serious/advanced work of any kind to be done on your bike I wouldn’t recommend Tim’s. Now don’t get me wrong the service isn’t the worst out there, but their are some serious issues in regards to Tim’s getting your service completed, or your product in your possession by the promised date, so if you need any type of dependability you won’t get it at Tim’s. also Tim’s doesn’t have a very wide variety of bikes or bikes of different price ranges, the brands of bikes Tim’s offers are all gt, verde, or dk. The cheapest bike in the shop is upwards of $300 while most others are upward of $500, which would be fine if the prices he were offering were competitive or good deals compared to the prices offered at other shops or online, but after researching I found that almost every bike sold in the shop you could find for $100 cheaper at other shops or on the online market. At the end of the day this is just knowledge I’ve gained from my past repair, and purchase experiences at Tim’s You can check him out for yourself if you would like just take this review into careful consideration when considering purchasing a product or repair from Tim.

Used Tims a few times. He's priced fair and does great work, but to be cautious add a few days to the expected day to pick your bike up. He does work alone often, and we all know things can come up

I went in to apply for a job today, Tim was very kind and worth trying to give me a job even though I’m 13. Great service. 10/10.

Brought in two bikes on a Monday and was told they'd be done by Friday. Saturday rolls around then Sunday then Wednesday, still nothing. Try to call multiple times and no answer. Literally into week 3 and my gf had to stand there and wait for him to fix our bikes as she explains what needed to be done in the first place. I'm all for supporting the local business but this place is just completely unorganized and it doesn't seem like Tim could care less. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Brought in bike 6/12. Expected repair complete by 6/18. Just got my bike today 8/20. I get that shipments are slow and the summer is busy. My frustration with Tim is the total lack of care for the customer. Tim could’ve told me it would probably take longer with the delays in parts, but he didn’t. He could have called me after he ordered the part to tell me it would take 2 months, but he didn’t. I came in and told him to call me when the part arrives to give me a better idea, nope didn’t do that. Call me when he was done? Nope let it sit for another week until thankfully I randomly popped in. He blamed the supplier for the delay, and he blamed his helper (a teenager) for not calling. He didn’t apologize, and clearly doesn’t care except for getting his money.

I had a couple rims that needed straightening. Tim completed the job when he said he would and the price was very fair. I found him to be honest and helpful. Thanks Tim for getting my kid’s bike back on the road.

Stop!! Do not bring your bike to Tim's. Had a promise date of two weeks for my repair and a month later they never looked at it. After confronting them, Tim's ended up repairing the wrong derailleur. Clueless !!!!

It's a pandemic!!! Everyone has wanted a new bike or their old non maintained bike to be fixed like new. Parts and new bikes are scarce at best. Do you think all these bike shops are only carrying 10 new bikes by choice? EVERY bike shop is having problems. Figure a month if you take it in because that's the average around metro Detroit.
