Don't know how they got an average of 4.2 for reviews. They sat us at a table that obviously wasn't bussed very well. Empty used jelly packets still on the table. Patty melt was good but burger was small. They wouldn't let me substitute mashed potatoes for fries unless I paid three something. Which I did. Then they have a juke box machine at the table that we put 75 cents in and no music and no change back. If it doesn't work or if it's for decoration you should have a sign up. Don't rip people out of their money. Service was mediocre. I won't eat here again, but hey somebody else my have better luck. 2 Stars. That is all.

Food was very tasty and made right, good prices with good proportions. Bakery Goods looked delicious but was too full to try. Friendly attentive staff, with a step back in time feel of a happening Diner. Very enjoyable atmosphere.

Being from out of town was very happy to find a restaurant open on a holiday. Our order was taken right away....there were only a few other people in the restaurant. The food came very quickly and were huge portions. The problem I had was getting a 2nd cup of coffee. A waitress actually gave the booth behind us more coffee but didn't even glance our way. Very disappointed that our waitress never even checked on us after dropping our food off.

Horrible food and service! Server not knowlagabe about menu and when asked a question he just stared at you blankly... I did not get what I ordered, but still had to pay for it. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!

Taco salad bad. Shell not edible, lettuce was spoiled. Fish was freezer burn taste bad. Not coming back. Cops donuts good.

Salad bar was pricey as an add on. Hamburger was just ok. Fries were hot and plentiful. Tomato soup was really good. Good service. Nice little place. Cheeseburger and fries were 7.50, add on salad bar for another 6.99. Breakfast , lunch and dinner all day

Only complaint was the hashbrowns. But it very well could've been us. Delicious eggs, cooked perfectly! Clean well maintained dining area. Friendly staff! Will continue to return :)

This is a neat old place. And when I say old, I mean that this place has been around for a long time. It's got that old welcoming local feel to it, even though I assume that they get a lot of tourists going down 23. Their food wasn't bad at all. I ordered the chicken quasidilla, which was pretty good. They also have a salad bar, which I did not partake in, but it seemed to have a draw. They also serve donuts, which looked pretty good. Going back to that nostalgic vibe, each booth has an old jukebox from way back in the day. It reminds me the old root beer stand days from the 50's or something. Overall, this place is worth checking out if ever passing by.
