The staff absolutely ruined my birthday dinner! The hostess was complaining about other customers to us, our waitress was very rude, the manager was standing around while ordering the servers to “make it happen”, and with 3 children we were sat in the bar section to wait 2 1/2 hours before seeing our food. The attitudes were just horrible and my family will not be returning!

I went last night order 2 for 32 along with a Margarita.My chicken was so old and dry I couldn't even eat it, the salmon was so small and over cooked I gave it to my cat to eat only thing good out my meals was the broccoli and mash potatoes.I come here often and my food has never been this bad. Kid-friendliness: My grandkids loves Applebee's .

We dined at Applebee's on Van Dyke in Sterling Heights and the waiter was so patient and friendly! It was five of us and he remembered all of our orders without writing anything down. He got all of our orders correct!!! Plus our food was delicious!! We didn't even have to wait long for our orders!! We will return again!!

This guy wouldn’t serve us. Very upset, we got here at 11 and google says that it’s open till midnight. They refused to serve us when we said we just wanted drinks. This is completely unacceptable.

Okay so listen my son birthday was august 24th and he turned 4 years old and his favorite food is “spenna dip” which is spinach dip. So I called a day before and asked can they accommodate a party of 15. They said yes. When we got there it was kids everywhere and I didn’t even know how many we had in our party so far, so when the first waitress came over, she was mad and had a attitude and WALKED AWAY. SO I calmly asked for the manger to my surprise the manger was on the line cooking because they were short staff. So another manger walked up and I said listen my son is 4 and it’s a lot of kids it’s about 16 of us and I need someone with patience and a good attitude and I promise, We will make sure good when we tip more den enough. This HERO name Lina stepped up. I asked are u okay with taking this big party, she said come on baby girl. I been doing this since u was born. And came over and did a AMAZING JOB. She really made my day. Thank you again Lina.♥️♥️ We tipped her so well. But still money isn’t enough because she did great. And the manger came out and spoke and helped us out too. She was very kind and sweet also. Thank you ladies again. The thing is I could of went anywhere but I choose there because that’s 1 of my son favorite. And they made his day. These ladies did beyond there job and I’m grateful. She even gave the kids a extra table to color at. THANK YOU AGAIN.❤️

I absolutely love this restaurant. Excellent American cuisine and even though we dont drink we request the one girl who's always at the bar because she's the best.

Great food and waitress. However the hostess greeted us with a blank stare and waited for us to say something to him then at the end of our dinner as we're going to leave asks if we're done as we're getting up from the table and then when we said yes proceeds to ask us for the sauce cups and little dishes that are left and the kids menu (I should get a discount for bussing my table) what is his job because he definitely isn't being a hostess at least not a good one.

I went here with my family a few days ago the service was really good and the food came out great. no complaints, only good stuff. the manager, Stacy, came up to our table to check on us and was super nice! we really liked her! we will be back again!
