OH MY GOOOOOODNESS!!! These guys have to have about THE BEST RUBIN IN TOWN!!! I challenge ANYONE ELSE to top them! I look forward to it every time I come here. They have lots of great food here, obviously, they're very popular. Just the same, all I need say is "I'll have the usual," and they serve me right up. They never disappoint.

Let's be real, we all like wine and spirits, but that isn't the only reason to stop in to this place. The other side of French 44 is a haven for food lovers!! The cheese selection is great, there's a host of ingredients to make any culinary creation under the sun!!! The grab-and-go food is pricey but soooo worth it. The staff was very friendly and had great suggestions. The chai snickerdoodle alone is worth a stop by here. Also, try the meat pies!

We used France 44 for appetizers at our Wedding at the Bakken Museum on 10/01/22, and we had the most positive experience with them! Communication was clear, on time, and the food looked beautiful! On top of this, everything was delicious! We have always loved France 44 for their sandwich and liquor shop, but this experience solidified why we chose them in the first place!

I had the best experience here. I’m not a beer connoisseur by any stretch, but have been exploring Saisons and Hefeweizen and most shops don’t have many varieties. This place blew my mind with the selection and the employees were all kind, knowledgeable and helpful. This guy, Bill, in particular, asked if I needed help and told me how the selections was organized. When I asked about the saisons and hefeweizens, he gave me a supremely knowledgeable tour of the styles themselves and the offerings available - all in a genuinely engaged, friendly, relatable way - describing the tastes in a down to earth, believable, understandable way. I’m really happy I stopped in!

They have an incredible selection of beer and a very impressive selection of scotch. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Every time I have looked lost while staring at bottles someone swoops in with guidance and a recommendation. I’ve gotten some great scotch here simply by looking overwhelmed!

Sandwiches are good. Way expensive. $15 for this sandwich smaller than my hand and they tried to charge us $25 for a pint of chicken salad. Yikes!

I impulsively bought 2 items from the deli and they were both exorbitantly expensive and were not half as good as they looked. The sweet corn risotto had no flavor other than the corn itself. The "Braised Beets" were actually pickled beets and the vinegar taste overwhelmed all other flavors.

Cheese shop is exquisite, great liquor options, and friendly staff. Visited for wine/liquor/beer tasting and ended up getting a club sandwich from the deli! Staff in the liquor store are very helpful and kind - I will definitely be back!

Another exceptional visit and collection of craft beer treasures to smuggle back with me to IL on the other side of the Mississippi River (don't laugh. It's a geographic boundary that limits beer distribution). Very knowledgeable and helpful staff in every department. I can't speak highly enough for the deep knowledge and recommendations from their craft beer stewards. Every time I visit family in Edina I go here at least twice. Once at the start of my visit to provision for my visit, and once at the end of my visit to take back home.
