My daughter needed soccer shoes and we wanted to shop locally and found the exact shoes we needed upstairs at the Mercado central. The price was a little more than a big box store, but the money stays in the neighborhood and it was probably a wash based on the price of gas to drive somewhere else.

The food was good but the Janitor/ person that was cleaning was very rude and demanded clean my table as for his request. Please note it was not very dirty at all just a couple of crubs that fell.

I really love Mercado Central. I’ve been visiting for years. It’s been cool to see how many places have gotten their start in the Mercado and eventually expanded their business to needing their own space elsewhere. I think it’s a great asset to the community and it is a really pretty building in an area where the city leadership doesn’t seem to be investing. I love the food court.
