ZRS Fossils and Gifts is home to 4,000 sq feet of exquisite Treasures from the Earth -- fossils, crystals, minerals, a huge array of natural stone jewelry, sculptures & carvings. Our "rock shop" offers the largest variety of options in the Twin Cities area & beyond, as well as an in-house Studio-Lab where we teach Lapidary & Crystal Energy Classes to the public. We're very community oriented, hosting a number of special in-store events (Winter Healing Expos, Morocco Night & more). Being that we are paleontologist-owned & operated, ZRS also provides hands-on, guided field collecting experiences in the US & foreign GeoTours. i’ve loved this place for years, they always have the most beautiful specimens of both crystals and fossils and always tell you where they were found. every employee is knowledgeable and friendly and owner john is the sweetest. i haven’t been yet, but they offer classes and field trips (!) the selection alone though should get anyone through the door,..and it’s so much bigger than it looks from the outside. i find gifts for everyone including myself, and everything is very reasonably priced ;)

I have never been to a crystal shop before, so I was unsure of what to expect. However the shop was absolutely charming and had a ton of choices! Well I am not a serious crystal shopper I was able to tell them my goals and the staff was able to help. They were extremely kind and friendly and were interested in the fact that I was decorating a lizard tank! They spent some time helping me look for something in particular, and chatted with me and my friend. They also had an adorable little dog in the shop!

This was my first time visiting ZRS Fossils & Gifts. ZRS store is a very beautiful store. I started to look around and one of the sales rep asked me if I needed help. I happened to notice two gorgeous horse stones. I asked if there were any more horse related stones. He apologized. I could spend lot's of time here. There are so many items made in various stones. I finally ended up buying a pair of blue stone earrings (three stones together) and the other sale's rep is nice also. I'll return for sure!

Absolutely love this place!! Such unique gems, crystals, stones, and fossils. My Daughter 's Boyfriend bought her a Topaz ring here for Christmas. The owner gave my youngest daughter a Titanium stone and the Staff is so very kind, genuine, and knowledgeable. They welcome people from all walks of life. I am going back tomorrow!!😁

A wonderful shop, friendly folks, always something new! Affordable stones for pocket trinkets or the avid collector alike, and their fossils are stunning! A nice mix of the typical stones, both tumbled and natural, but also the rarer and harder to find as well. The whole place has such a soothing atmosphere, too. I love going in and leave with at least one fantastic shiny every time I go. They have stunning crystal and gemstone jewelry, too.

I was out rock & fossil hunting with my youngsters and stumbled across ZRS Fossils! What an amazing place indeed for rock collectors and fossils especially! We spent an hour+ on-site and my kids left with an assortment of beautiful treasures to their delight😀 I love fossils and they have no shortage of them at ZRS. We also found the proprietor to be a fantastic fellow, whom spent a great deal of time with my kids sharing his knowledge and answering their questions. A great experience and we are ‘forever’ customers as a result!!!

Such an incredible place! All the staff are very kind and knowledgeable. The love when you bring in your pooches and sometimes there's a little one there named Olive. She and her dad are just delightful. John, the owner is so helpful and has so much knowledge about any question you might have, that it kind of blows my mind. His wife, Kelly, also an owner, is so kind, patient, and smart as well! I also recently went on one of ZRS's field trips, and that was incredible. I'll definitely be going on another other ASAP. Thanks so much for the opportunity and for sharing your passions and intelligence with us!
