I have continuously received subpar service from William M. I usually stay away from the service desk because of this but today I needed this task to be in and out and there wasn’t anyone at the service desk. So I proceed to put my things on the counter and William M just looks at me as if he’s baffled as to why I’m there. No greeting, no smile nothing just starts ringing up my stuff. So I asked him for something that is only offered behind the service counter right and before I can even finish my whole request he cut me off and said “well I need to see your ID”. I look fairly young for my age so I’m used to being asked for my ID right it’s never a problem with me. But William M didn’t see anything wrong with that even after I proceeded to tell him that speaking over someone it was rude. Not to mention his tone. He just looked at me as if I was the one that had the problem. No sorry or I didn’t mean it that way, nothing he said absolutely not one word and stared at me until I gave him my ID. Now I usually don’t give one stars or comment on subpar interactions with service personal because we all have our days right. But I’ve watched how William treats other people (white people) vs the way he treats people like myself (Black people), in the past and I think that his supervisor, his manager somebody needs to talk to William M. So he can get that together. Because this Cub have definitely lost my patronage. I have never experienced anything like this at Hyvee. So I'll just go there.

I really enjoy posting excellent reviews but cannot do so at this time. Food prices are just getting outrageous. My hubby and I always were avid shoppers at Cub Foods but prices are just getting out of hand. We do not sacrifice on buying good quality items. We know things are tough but many people I have spoken to believe companies/industries are also taking full advantage of current times as well. As just one example, Cub Foods is selling a pound of cherries for $5.99 in the Twin Cities/suburbs and you can buy the same lb @ Aldi Grocery Stores for $3.49 st this point and the fruit is very good. We also bought a lb of strawberries for just $1.49 at Aldi as well. The strawberries were a large size and were delicious. You will NOT find this price at Cub Foods! These are just two examples. You might not be able to purchase everything at Aldi but you can really save on the items the store carries. We really feel for families with children! We are hearing more and more families are switching and looking around for better scenarios to provide some relief as with other products as well.

I visit here several times per year, but not my regular grocery store. I also shop at the Cub in Buffalo and the one on Highway 55 and 169. They were all about the same, but this one was a tad bit cleaner, and also the only one that had liquid smoke for barbequing - go figure. I will go back, and recommend.

We're done shopping at Cub Foods. We've bought meat items before with their buy one get on free promo. And been very pleased. But now they're getting sneaky. An endcap offered the promo, so we bought two large roasts (have to buy a second to get the promo) - but turns out we got NOTHING OFF! Called the store afterwards and they said the promo was on stewmeat and tiny little meatloafs. Called the meat manager after we got home. He didn't even apologize for the sneakiness of having other items on the endcap. We will not be back.

This Cub sells rotten meat, got me sick last night! If you have to, carefully inspect the meat you get, theres a good chance it's bad!

Of all the Cub foods in the area, this one is the least recommended. This is mainly because of their utterly incompetent stocking. There are times when their own brand of skim milk is visible in the back refrigerator, but not available to customers ... You have to ask for it. All the other Cubs have Langer's Cran Raspberry, but this one refuses to stock it, though one asked a half dozen times. The photo is me buying said item at a different store.

This is a large and very well-stocked store. I love the self-serve registers. One of the other Plymouth Cub Foods does not have these and it is very inconvenient. The staff are always kind and helpful. I love the little promotions they put on during peak hours of most Saturdays.
