I brought my 78 camaro in for new exhaust and mufflers. I picked it up and brought it home and noticed it was still hitting my brake cable and one muffler was backwards then noticed the welds were terrible and the extensions they put on the ends were pounded down to fit through the back with a hammer! The extra gaps were filled with weld and were spotty!! I called them and told them I wasn't happy and he said he would grind down the welds and that's it. If I wanted a show exhaust it would have cost more!! He said he doesn't get complaints! I didn't know there was options on doing a good job or not! The car is a frame off restoration and has new paint and parts underneath so why wouldn't I want a good job done? Yes I'm going to show off the car after I get the exhaust fixed again!! Different shop for sure! Just brought the car to elk river muffler and brakes and they couldn't believe the work that was done! One of the worst they have seen. It wasn't straight at the beginning and it got worse from there!! Having it all replaced, right!! And the price isn't much more, probably because I'm going with more expensive mufflers and crome tips!! Service: Auto exhaust system replacement

I brought my vehicle in for an insurance repair after being rear ended. My back bumper was damaged and pulled down from the impact, all the pins had fallen out and there was some damage underneath. Without checking with me first, they assumed that since the bumper wasn’t cracked, but did have some visible damage, that they could just put the old bumper back on. They assumed that I was trying to stay under a budget, even though I informed them it was an insurance repair and that it needed to be fixed to the state it was in prior to the accident. I have them all of the insurance info so they could get a quote and everything for the repairs that needed to be done. They kept telling me they didn’t have the insurance phone number or my claim number, after I gave it to them 3 times. After a week I went to pick up my car and noticed it wasn’t repairs properly. When I asked him about it he said “I thought you wanted to reuse the old bumper instead of paying for a new one.” Why he didn’t ask me, I have no idea! It them took them another THREE WEEKS to finally get in touch with the insurance company and fix my car. I was without a vehicle for a month due to the trouble. I would never recommend anyone to go to this shop!!! They were awful to deal with!! Service: Body & Trim

These guys were great! They were able to get me in same day, diagnosed the exhaust problem and had it fixed within 20 minutes. They even let me go into the shop to see what was wrong and explained how everything works. My drive home was nice and quiet! Definitely recommend these guys for any exhaust issues! Service: Exhaust

I had custom dual exhaust put on my G6 Coupe recently, and they did an excellent job at a great price. In fact, the other places I got quotes from wanted twice as much for less work done. The other shops wanted $600 for the exhaust, plus extra to remove the old rear valance to replace it with a dual exhaust valance. Blatz only charged me a little less than $300 for the exhaust and valance replacement/install.

Had great customer service in the past, but lately have not been impressed. My 73 yr old Mother was visiting and because I had great service in the past referred Blatz for her car began to smell of oil. Had made several attempts to call and left message with no response, she went in person to see if they could help her. Frustrating that nobody answers the phone during regular work hours or return messages in a good time frame. I will put the blame on Covid at this time. They were able to get her car repaired the next day and 550 dollars later it was done and was heading home. 20 minutes after leaving Blatz and heading home the car began to not run right. She tried calling several times on what to do and again nobody answered (during regular business hours) very frustrating. After a few hours if waiting and talking to her family decided to head home but worried may call more damage. Did make it home going slow but took 4 hours and alot of anxiety if she would make it. I told her not to worry Blatz would make it right. However, I was wrong. She received a return call the next day and the conversation quickly turned and basically asked her what she did. No apologize or show concern for her safety, or even give reassurance of what could be the problem. She has limited income and scared for he only means of transportation. She was told need to wait till Monday for answers. Unable to know what is wrong and still waiting on what to do she has no car to drive and no resolution on what she should do. Hopeful Monday Blatz will make it right for her and help her. It's sad cause I had bragged to everyone how great care I received and may reconsider any further recommendation or service to be done. Very disappointed on having no compassion for a 74 year old that could have been broke down in the highway or even made it home. Unbelievable!

They did a great job on a repair for us. I would have given 5 stars but they played the 15 dollars in shop fee card on us with tax for another $10 when the cost of the part was only $20. Make sure when you go there get the out the door price and everyone will be very happy. Work looks good and car is quiet. I will no doubt be back!

Brought my vehicle in for full exhaust replacement. The guys found a fuel leak which they promptly informed me of and fixed, with my approval, before attempting any dangerous repairs. They installed all parts in a very reasonable amount of time and kept the price as low as possible, given the challenges they faced. You won't be making a poor decision bringing a vehicle here.
