Close and convenient. Top tier gasoline for my car that requires 91+ octane fuel. Friendly and courteous folks.

They play Cheddar News at the pumps at full volume and there’s no way to mute it.

Fine experience and all but if you say you are open at 8 be OPEN. Came in to get my tire fixed that had a visible leak, the workers were not able to locate the leak. Brought my Car into Discount Tire Co and they found 3 nails in my tire and a broken valve stem. Very confused how Sinclair was not able to find the most obvious leak. Don’t waste your time here!

Just swung by today after I found a nail in my tire. I live just a couple blocks away. They repaired my tire in less then 10 minutes. Super impressed, great service. Thank you!

Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. I pop in for headlight and brakelight repairs, oil changes, and just because something sounds weird. Always treated respectfully and prices are incredibly fair! I live that I can just stop there, sometimes I need to come back in 20 min, but always get me in quick. I like that there are a few stores I like to shop that close by and there's always Green Mill across the street if it's going to be a little bit of time. Awesome service!

Say you get an oil change here, then, the next day, you notice some oil leaking. If that leaking turns out to be a worn drain plug, it's not their fault. The cost to you is an extra $30 and perhaps 1-3 hours of your time - if you value your time @ ~$12 an hour then the cost to you is $42-66. This is a pesky amount to go after. The car is old and had many many oil changes from many places. The last 7 were from Sinclair, was it bad luck? should this piece ever wear out? The customer can't know but the mechanic has a chance. It went from not leaking to leaking during the work they performed but took no responsibility. They could eat the $30 and apologize for the inconvenience or risk a bad review... A few notes; Sam(the owner) did call back, which was appreciated. As a possible fix an oil pan replacement was put forth at a cost of $400

I took my car here because my engine light was on. I paid once and the issue wasn’t taken care of. Reluctantly, I dropped my car off a second time and paid again and the issue still wasn’t taken care of. When I called Sam to see about having my car looked at for a third time I was refused any promise or guarantee on the work that was originally requested. This shop is especially close to where I live and I’ve been really disappointed about the quality of service and the customer care. I don’t recommend.

Horrible service and they lied to me. I went here because I was worried I had some damage to my brakes from water and wanted a quick check somewhere close to me before driving on the interstate. They told me no water damage but my brake pads needed to be replaced because they were "metal on metal". I had to go to work and didn't have time to wait, so even though they "didn't recommend driving" I felt my car had been driving fine so I left. I was skeptical, and good thing because when I was at the Toyota dealer a few days later for a warranty repair they checked my brakes and told me I had "plenty of miles left" on the brake pads, showed me the measurements and everything! So these guys charged me $20 to "inspect" my brakes for 90 seconds and then lie to me about needing to replace them.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE TO GET TIRES MOUNTED! I normally go to Discount Tire, but they were backed up so I decided to give Grand Wheeler Sinclair a chance.....big mistake. I provided them with four brand new tires to be mounted. Three hours after I picked up the car the front driver's side tire goes flat. I drive to the nearest gas station to fill up the tire and I come to find the tire has developed large bulges on the side wall.....the tire is ruined. I drop the car off the same night for them to look at it the next morning. My assumption of why the tire went flat was because of a bad mounting job. There were no nails in the tire and I didn't hit any big pot holes in the 3 hours I had driven the car. I assumed Grand Wheeler would replace the tire and mount it with no charge since it was their fault the tire went flat and was ruined. The next morning I stop by the shop to check on the progress and notice the tire is still filled with air from the night before so it couldn't have been a nail. I ask if they have looked at it yet, but they haven't. A few hours later the owner calls me and says I need a new tire and quotes me for a new tire and mount. I explained that I think the tire was mounted incorrectly, slowly leaked air from the tire bead which resulted in it going flat and that they should cover the costs. The owner then proceeds to argue with me, asks me how a tire can be mounted wrong (a simple google serach) and that my tires weren't even new. I asked him how my tire would have gone flat and he says it could be a nail (which it wasn't) or the tires where used and already damaged (which they weren't). I then ask him have you even looked at the tires and he says NO. So without even looking at the tires the owner of Wheeler Sinclair has determined why the tire went flat. At that point he asks if I want them to put on the spare or replace the tire with me covering the costs. I told them don't touch it and I'll be right over. I argue with the owner about how can he determine why the tire went flat without even looking at it. He says there is no way to botch mounting a tire (simple google search proves him wrong) and that he won't even refund me the $25 for the mount. The best part is I asked him if they test for leaks after they mount tires. He says no, that's not our job. THE OWNER OF GRAND WHEELER SINCLAIR ADMITTED THEY DO NOT TEST FOR LEAKS AFTER THEY MOUNT TIRES. So I tell him I'm not leaving without my $25 refund and he says ok, take a seat. First customer that comes in I tell them don't take your car here, they are screwing me over. Well the owner didn't like that and calls the police, which I happily welcome. I know the police can't do anything to help me but I wasn't going to be scared off. So I calmly wait for the police and explain my side of the story and they said the only thing I can do is take him to court and write a review. They bring me outside, give me a case number and say that they believe me. I leave with the bulged tire still on. A few days later I was able to get two new tires at Fred's Wholesale Tire in White Bear Lake. I decided to get two so they would match. Fred's said Grand Wheeler did in fact damage the bead on the flat tire which is why the bulges formed AND damaged the bead on the other tire. I asked Fred's to do me a favor and call Grand Wheeler and vindicate me, no idea if they did though. In summary, do not get tires mounted here. They do not test for leaks which has me wondering how many other things they repair and don't test.
