The manager fired me when I put weeks in advance that I had orientation for college and she still put me on the schedule didn’t know that she did and blamed it on a no call no show when nobody answer the phone when I tried to get my schedule and ever since she has yet to hire me back and yes this was years ago but the manager would hire new people and train them on the register and made me work the floor the whole time and got upset when I would make more sales than anybody else

Though I was not unhappy with my experience at Shoe Dept Encore I was floored when I told the young man waiting on me that wearing his mask over his mouth only was not doing anyone any good. His response was “yes ma’am I know”. I know the government is mandating the wearing of masks but if you’re business is going to follow government mandates them you should definitely have an in-service with your employees training on how to wear them. Just a waste of money for PPE if not worn correctly.

The place has a huge selection of shoes and other accessories. Top name brand selections at reasonable prices. The employees are not very helpful tho.

They always have them sales sales sales. They even recommended my shoes size(ladies) in the youth and they fit and they saved me some mullah!
