I got a green tea matcha latte bc its my favorite. I didn't see it on the menu but it was made perfectly. Great space & atmosphere. Limited items. Baked goods available. Great for conversation and work space.

I am hugely disappointed! I tried to order from here on GrubHub because I thought they had nice alternative items you might not get from some other places, a nice coffee selection with alternative cream/milk options and I would be supporting the Independence Square; which is a bonus to me. The menu is truthfully very limited already; so one would think they would definitely have those items DAILY. I guess not! I ordered 2 of just about 2/3 of the menu items they had on their menu. Only to be called and told they don’t have the quiche, bagels, breakfast burritos, or muffins that I ordered. That is like 2/3 of your options and they don’t have them! I was flabbergasted. How can a place not have 2/3 of their entire menu! Then minutes later, I got another call telling me the online prices are not even correct, and that they will not cover the difference in price! This turned from a great experience to a HUGE disappointment very quickly. I had to cancel my entire order. This WOULD have turned into a place i would order from often; had they actually had the offerings they list; especially at the prices listed. Instead, I am left feeling that I should not be surprised, because when I think back to the days I used to visit this place on the square, they never seemed to have anything on the menu then either. I guess I should have remembered that and known better considering past history. The days of great customer service and pride in your offerings are clearly in the distant past. I love supporting the square but this might not be on that list anymore. One time too many I have been disappointed with their offerings (other than coffee). Great coffee selection, but when I enjoy a coffee; it is usually to accompany great pastry or food. A great coffee shop always makes sure it has things to nosh on…not just coffee. Do better…be better… 😔

Cute little local coffee shop. Nice atmosphere, game corner, and good pasties and drinks! Tea and coffee. Hot or cold. Seasonal flavors as well. And great customer service with a smile!

Adorable little coffee shop in historic downtown Independence. They have menu items but they also do special requests. The girls serving us were very kind and professional.

I went here with a friend bc my cousin RAVES about it. I was not disappointed. I got a coconut woman or lady? Anyway it was FANTASTIC & a croissant with chocolate chips & hazelnut filling. Delicious.

Like always they hit the spot for my craving of awesome coffee. There muffins are moist and very delicious. They even warm them up for you so they taste bakery fresh. I recommend the coconut mocha Frappuccino for a cold yummy pick me up!

I was a new customer , the people were so very nice , the coffee was inspirational ! I had the pistachio princess and my daughter had the lavender one and our minds were blown away at how delicious it was! I mean really really good! I will no longer crave starbucks i will crave my daughters lavender coffee so obsessed! FANTASTIC! The place felt warm and inviting gentle laughter in the air people working on laptops a cozy fire setting . im so pleased!

A great addition to the Independence Square. Very quaint interior and a lovely atmosphere that goes well with your tea or coffee when you just want to have a nice little relaxing sit down. A very well put together drink and flavor choices that satisfy any palette. Also a seasonal drink menu which I recommend since they have incredible combinations that really knock your drink out of the park.

Great staff, big smiles. Big, gooey cinnamon rolls! Very good coffee. And the atmosphere is very laid back. It's in an old building on the square. Old wood, squeaky floors...love it.
