I've been going here, for years! It's always hot, & fresh! The buffet to me, is what this place is all about! It's got delicious fried chicken, real mashed potatoes, homemade bread ( selection of jams ) homemade soups, other sides, I've had ham before & a salad bar is included! Dessert is included! Today's had ice cream, cookies, rhubarb pie, pumpkin spice desert, & lemon cake. You can get other menu items. I featured the hot tenderloin in my pictures, & blackberry pie.The staff is always friendly, & prices are very reasonable! Also! They've got a bakery behind, the restaurant! This place is a Jamesport staple! Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly! Parking: Plenty of parking down the street

Service was great. The lunch buffet was pretty limited. Fried chicken, a noodle dish, soup, and one/two other things with a salad bar and some desserts. Food was ok, most needed more seasoning. Fried chicken was pretty good. Restrooms were pretty dirty and cleanliness in general was not the greatest. I'd be interested in trying some of their other menu items, but I'd skip the buffet. Parking: Street parking in a small area with several other shops.

My grandkids said it was the best Ruben he’s ever tasted I had the chicken strips with fried. The fries were the best fries we had and we actually took a order home to warm up. Glad we ate about 1145 because the time we left there was probably 20 people waiting outside to get in it’s that popular

Pecan and raspberry cream cheese rolls are scrumptious! We had dinner there also and the food is fresh and delicious. The coconut pie is out of this world. 10/10 recommend this place.

Great place to eat in Jamesport and worth the drive. I live about an hour and 15 minutes away. Home-cooked food the way your grandmother used to make it. Go for the buffet. Everything on it was delicious, especially the fried chicken.

In my opinion, the lunch buffet at Gingerich is the only thing on the menu. 😁 They always have a good selection of excellent food (be sure to try the fried chicken or the beef & noodles). Fresh, widely varied desserts, too. We don't make a trip to Jamesport without eating at Gingerich and visiting the bakery in back (it's all about the Dutch letters).

Thus is one of our all time favorite restaurants. They have delicious homemade selections that are sure to please. I had the hot roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy most recently. Absolutely delicious for lunch! Their made from scratch dessert menu brought us back later in the day to enjoy blackberry pie with ice cream, cinnamom rolls and chocolate cream pie. Yum!

Absolutely no complaints other than we travel a half hour or longer to get there. I told my kids that their fried chicken may be better then mine and they don't believe it is possible. People working there were very nice but the food wasn't the best. Fried chicken was over cooked, pickled beets were "watery with little taste". The mashed potatoes were really and were very good.
