The MERS Goodwill Thrift Store in The Shops at Hawkridge is a good place to pick up treasures at decent prices. The prices, for the most part, are reasonable for second-hand items. There's a wide variety of items and for those needing inexpensive but good quality clothing items this is the place to be in Lake St. Louis. The bathroom is clean and easy to find in the back of the store. It's a good idea to come back once a month of so to see the new items the store has gotten in.

I found the unique size I was looking for. However by not requiring masks yet keeping the dressing rooms closed, they are sending mixed messages. Either require masks or open the dressing room. Pick one.

As always I had fun. Lots of interesting things. I found a nice insulated thermos for my hot coffee that I have been looking for. Brand new those go for over $40 easy I paid six. What a deal!

This place use to be my Favorite Goodwill could find everything I needed. But DON'T ASK THE EMPLOYEE IF YOU CAN CHECK IF IT WORK!!! They quickly will tell you It work" or It probably work. Or trust me it works we wouldn't put it out on the floor. I don't even know you!!! I don't trust nobody but Jesus. Lazy employees

I walk through it now n then and it’s good. I mainly appreciate how fast I can drop off donations there. We are purging our home and many of the items are in really good shape. Glad they can have a second life.

I'll keep this shoet if im able. Today im getting my car inspected and walked over to the Goodwill to see what they had. I go to several Goodwill stores a week. Inside this Goodwill today was a really cool table. Mind you a cool table that wouldn't fit in my car even if it wasnt two doors down on a lift. I decide its to cool to pass up so i grab the tag and headed up front as the service center just called and my car was done anyway. i get up there and ask if i can come back later this eveing and get it becuase i would have to go get my truck. it seemed like that wasn't really something they like to do which is completely understandable but it also seemed like they had a policy of you had one whole hour. either way they got who I assume is the manager and she said I had one hour to come back and get the table. it would take all 60 of those minutes for me to get there and back in time but I thought it could be done and I said fair is fair. I paid for the table walk a parking lot over grab my car and head back to my house to grab my truck. I throw some blankets in there make sure my straps are in there and head back to the Goodwill. I arrived with five or so minutes to spare before 6:00. i walk in and I go back to the back and they tell me I need to go up front to check out or something which after hearing tbat k felt kikda silly i didnt do that to be gin with. I go back up front and I get in the very back of a long line. They were really busy and I wait 10 12 minutes who cares I'm in no hurry. i was chatting it upnwith the lady in front of me anyway. I worked in retail for almost 12 years and 8 or so as a manager it's really impossible for me to get ignorant or upset at simple mistakes or process errors such as these or even policy. I was always on the other side trying to explain to the customer now that I am the customer I already know the explanation. I get up there and the girl who I had not seen before told me I need to go back to the dock doors and tell them that I'm here to pick up the table. again didn't bother me I paid for a screwdriver that I had grabbed off the shelf and headed back to the back. I ran into someone back there super nice and he told me to just pull around and we'd do it that way they'd help me load it but they couldn't help me take it apart I was like I already brought a drill I know the rules just help me get the glass in the bed of the truck. so I'm walking back up front to move my truck around and that same girl who I'd spoken with before asked me if I had my receipt. I want you to know that every single employee was awesome but this girl gets my fivr stars, she was just relaying this information and was incredibly nice throughout the whole situation, tells me that the manager said that I need to have my receipt. I tell her I don't have the receipt it's in the car that I just dropped off to get into this truck in under an hour. other employees were chiming in "yeah he was just here he paid for it he was going to leave the brown chairs cuz they didn't look like they went with the table" at this point it's getting a little ridiculous and this manager doesn't seem to like me for some reason or is having a bad day or maybe she wanted the table I don't know what the situation was because she was frustrated that she was even asked if I could leave it there for an hour. I promise you she had an attitude.

Very rude. People walking around with no gloves. Cashiers using same gloves after every transaction, how is that sanitary? 🤔 Also once found out that I was a different race I was treated differently and disrespectful. The place was unsanitary as a whole, considering covid is here. Place should be shut down. Never be back!!!!

Just went to try and make a donation. After sitting in a line for 15 minutes without moving I decided to drive up to the side and put my one bag of items in a box. I watched 4 other cars do the same. The gentleman working told me I had to get back in line. The line wrapped around the building at this point because of two cars that were unloading for 15 minutes. Cars were blocked from getting out because of the line. So instead of accepting a donation he would rather have people drive off as to not block other customers from leaving. Very poorly ran and very rude of him. I will no longer be donating or shopping at any goodwill because of this experience. I called up there to let them know what he was doing and she didn't seem to care. For a company to make money off of only donations, they sure don't accommodate people donating.

Great selection of merchandise. The people are friendly and the store is always clean. I have donated many items here and I feel good knowing they can resell them and make a profit and help the community at the same time! 👍
