Just want to say these people are amazing! We have done 3 Amazon returns there! They helped bring in the 3D printer not only did they hold the door open, a gentleman came out and helped get one side of the box for him! The time before that I was returning something and I was there a few minutes before they opened, they opened early for me! Super friendly and helpful! I am so glad they came to Republic!!

I've used UPS Stores for years. When I lived in Springfield, I had a box there for my business, and did all of my document printing, faxing, etc. Being in construction I'm constantly on the move, therefore I use the stores that are closest to my work. This is the first time I used the Republic store, but expected nothing less. One service I like is their ability to make custom shipping boxes. I needed one a specific size and they said they could do it, quoted me $15. That was fair so I gave them the order. A few minutes later the manager came out with a box that looked like it was made from scraps of another box. It had extra fold areas that made the box flimsy. Unfortunately I was in a hurry and couldn't wait for a remake, so I paid them and left, but very sure the box wasn't going to work. Later that evening when packaging the contents, the box was way too flimsy, due to the extra folds, that I had to rebuild the box to make it work. My wife got out her hot glue gun and box knife and we built a better box out of the one that we paid for that should have been done better. I don't want to speculate on why they thought it was acceptable, but they should have known, and should have never passed on something obviously inferior. I will use this store again, I am sure, but I think they really dropped the ball on this service. (Addendum : since I'm not able to reply to their reply, I'll add my response here. Two things: One, I find it interesting that they bring up the idea that I'm "shipping a firearm" as if I went in there to do that. I made it VERY CLEAR when I was in there that I was just there to get a box. I already had an FFL arranged and didn't need the shipping service, but as some sort of rebuttal that I was unhappy because they couldn't ship the package because of regulations is untrue and shouldn't have even been brought up in the reply. Two, I thought I was clear also in my review that we had to resize the box to use it, so then how could I bring it in for a refund? Shows they weren't paying attention. I don't set out looking for refunds. I just want to get what I paid for, and in this case I didn't.)

I'm from out of town and was in need of some help shipping a Fed Ex package. Unfortunately they couldn't help, but I found a new place that just opened down the street, Rapid Ship. In and out fast and very friendly.
