Don't try to call this post office. They keep their phones off the hook so you always get a busy signal. Also they don't deliver items they are supposed to. They just take your package to another post office and don't tell you they're doing so. Then you have to drive 45 minutes to deliver your own package to yourself. I paid extra for faster delivery and they deliver it 2 counties away from where I live.

In the past 10+ years we’ve lived in Waynesville, I’ve had excellent service when I go to the Post Office. Home delivery is a totally different experience. Our wonderful mail lady retired several years ago and pretty much ever since we’ve had issues. Sometimes packages are brought to the porch, but if it can be crammed into the mailbox that’s where it goes. Several times I’ve had to wait for someone else to come pull it out for me. I had 3 major surgeries from July 8 to August 12 this year and my recovery could take a year. I can’t push or pull on anything until I’m through recovery. I will no longer accept mail I can’t get out of the mailbox. If it’s crammed in there again I will take pictures and visit the post master. I was reading some of the reviews and unacceptable mail delivery seems to be the main complaint. I give 5 stars to Post Office in Waynesville but 1 star for home delivery. And that’s the nicest way I know to give this review.

It has been a month since I have received ANY OF MY MAIL. I check my mailbox daily and it is ALWAYS empty. I have had multiple packages that are said to have been delivered that I have NOT received! Then, their staff assures me it was delivered in the correct mailbox and that someone else must have access to my box. Mind you, for a year I have not had this issue with the SAME BOX. It would be bice if accountability was taken.

Waynesville Missouri has the worstpost office I have ever had to deal with. Thank goodness for the bald heavy set gentleman who came today 6-11-2021 he is the only one to do their job. We have been waiting on mail since January and today we got all of it. Its absolutely ridiculous that all of the businesses here have made several complaints and nothing has changed. I get they have a high turnover, but that is probably for their incompetence and lack of training. Pretty soon I will be asking for my paycheck from them, since I continually get every one elses mail and have to walk to every business to deliver their mail. Lets do better Waynesville

I love utilizing the Waynesville post office, since I have arrived in 2007. All the employees are helpful and courteous, they have had many changes there, but the main clerks that I have had the privilege of being served by have always been helpful. I love the hours that they also have as well compared to the other local post offices. I also loved the carrier that we had in Waynesville, she was the best, but I know when we moved out of the area, she was retiring. She was always on time and so friendly. I have had to talk to our Post Master in St Robert to remind our mail delivers about cramming mail into our mailbox, especially when the items, state do not fold or bend. Since elections, the mail system has been pretty much fouled up if you ask me, because my mail is delivered later and later. Changes need to take place so people love going to work again. Leave a card of thank you for your carrier once in awhile. Offer them a cold water or Gatorade in the summer or leave them a gift card for a hot coffee for McDonalds or Starbucks. Your mail deliveries might improve.

Just followed up on a mailing forward question and Waynesville P.O. was on top of things. I never have issues with this well run post office. Very professional and always courteous. Thanks for all you do especially during these trying times as you deal directly w public America.

The USPS isn't that great overall but the Waynesville office is worse than most. They often stuff too large of boxes in the mailbox and cause damage to the contents (covered porch is close but that requires exiting the truck), leave the box door open, play package Jenga by piling multiple large packages on top of my mailbox (see porch note above). They also start and stop mail holds as they wish rather than as indicated on the request form. I've had to call several days after returning to inquire why I haven't received mail and the hold is up but apparently they decided I was having so much fun I probably stayed an extra week. Today I'm calling to inquire about a package that wasn't delivered due to "customer requested hold" when no hold was requested.

Had two packages get put in the wrong post office box, not mailbox. Talked with them face to face and they were able to acknowledge it happened by mistake but they couldn’t tell from their written log which box they put it in. I was told the person who picked it up would probably bring it back and after weeks of waiting, that never happened. So naturally you think ok they know the issue so I should be able to get things resolved through them. Not at all! I was instructed to fill out a lost mail form online which prompts the mailing system to look for two items that won’t circulate through their mail system because this local office already put it in a box that wasn’t mine. It’s like sending someone to look for something you know you gave away, smh. Obviously that box belonged to someone in need of the things I ordered as well because I’m sure if it had been return it wouldn’t have been a big deal. Its when the stars don’t align you learn when they lose your mail there’s no accountability. I can’t put it on the shipper because the item was marked as delivered, which it technically was. I purchased a box at the post office with hopes of avoiding this and I’m ok with human error it happens. I’ve had plenty of packages go through with no issues. What bothers me is I paid for stuff that i can’t get back and I can’t get refunded. To the person who kept it, I hope karma touch you as well.

They have been amazing! We had a package from grandparents arrive damaged and missing things from inside. When I went in Cindy was so very helpful and i left feeling much better about the whole ordea . And the post master followed up with me the next day!!!! Again very helpfu . Today we had a package delivered and I had just stepped inside to grab something and my little one got so excited that the they 'delivered' it to her.
