We have been taking our pets there since, I think, 1988. We used to live close by, but now drive 45 minutes to get there. Chip loves animals and it shows through his very thorough exams and dedication to the welfare of pets Also, he doesn't oversell meds or procedures. In all the years that we have been going there, we've never had a bad experience with any of the staff.

Dr. Hill is absolutely amazing! We feel very fortunate to have such a friendly and compassionate large animal vet nearby. Not only is she very knowledgable about the variety of species she treats, but she is clearly comfortable handling these large animals as well. From routine farm calls to weekend emergency visits, we've been beyond pleased with Dr. Hill's care and can't recommend her enough!

They took great care of my two cats and the price for their physical seemed more reasonable than the vets I've used for previous pets. They even trimmed their nails for me. They had Dr. Hill and she was very professional and attentive. Will definitely be recommending them to anyone with new pets

I was in need of a vet for my senior dog after I waited for his regular veterinary hospital to start seeing their regular patients instead of just emergency cases. Well, the tag on his chest cavity needed to be addressed and he had a hemroid that wouldn't stop bleeding. When I called them I was at wits end. First of all they understood my dilemma, saw him immediately and never judged me about waiting so long. Well, our wonderful Hunter got the surgeries he needed and I can't even explain how professional these vets are! Their rates are beyond reasonable! You can tell they really are in it for the animals and not for the money they could make.im so happy to have found our new vets for our fur family. I highly recommend them, highly professional, reasonable priced and are there when they are needed. I can't thank them enough for what they did for us.

I have been taking my animals to Dr. Grier at Jaffrey-Rindge Vet for a over 21 years. I was consistently pleased with the wonderful staff that had been there for nearly as many years. However this past year there have been multiple changes in personnel and quality. On August 10 I contacted them for a sick visit for my dog, I was told they were booked through September 20. I presented the issue and was told they couldn’t give any recommendations without seeing her. I contacted another vet who wasn’t able to see her but did provide helpful suggestions that did work. On August 27, I received a call from them saying they have a cancellation time available August 30. I took this appointment as to still address a stable, but recurring problem. I was told the same information I was given over the phone by the other vet and still charged the 100$ fee for an “urgent “ visit! I’ll be moving on.

I had to bring my dog in for an emergency visit on a Friday (our regular vet is closed on Fridays.)They were able to fit us in even though they had a full day scheduled. Carly was helpful and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend Jaffrey-Rindge Veterinary Hospital.

On the first night of our vacation camping down the street our dog became very sick and could not stand well on his own at 5 AM. We thought he'd had a stroke and the 4 hours we waited until we could call a vet were just terrible. He was staggering and stumbling and we were certain he would have to be put down by a stranger. We were heartbroken. Enter the wonderful staff at this veterinary hospital. They returned my call promptly and and saw my 13 year old lab right away. The wonderful Dr. Grier and his team knew just what was wrong and his advice was spot on. My dog had vistibular ataxia, basically old age motion sickness. He was given some anti nausea meds to keep him eating and his recovery was just as Dr. Grier predicted. I will never forget the kindness they showed us that morning. Can't say enough good things. So grateful.
