We had an excellent experience with our move with Ramar moving systems and United Van Lines. Eric managed our move and did all of the inventory, etc. He was very professional, he did a very thorough job with the inventory and quote. He was always quick to respond to any questions. Michelle assisted and tracked everything. She was in constant contact with us throughout each stage of the move. She kept us informed on the schedule, called at each stage asking how things were going. We also needed to ship one of our cars and I had forgotten about it with all activity related buying/selling homes, packing etc. The day we were moving we called at the last minute to see if they could help. They told us to drive it up to their office and took care of everything. In addition, we were running late and were worried they'd be closed when we got there. We called and checked if someone would be there and they said they would be there. Both Eric and Michele were there and they were a big help. Last but not least I have to mention the United Van Line movers - they rocked. Allan the driver was always asking us if we were ok. He was so calm and diligent, he was in charge. Of course we had the same driver throughout but different teams of movers and clearly they liked what they were doing and they cared about our belongings. One of the movers in Texas was so funny and he always had a smile on his face. He was showing us pictures and videos of his grandkids and cracking jokes. They took all of the stress out of the move.. Moving our possessions with Ramar was a terrible and heartbreaking experience. We received our living room furniture in pieces, literally. Three chairs and one table had broken legs, and the pedestal of our antique drop leaf table was destroyed. They even promised to give it extra care since it was a family heirloom. This all took place somewhere between moving our belongings from our home to unloading them at their storage facility in Frederick. The United cross country driver was not at fault and reported it to the owners. Other items were broken inside moving boxes that were crushed before leaving their warehouse, and over a dozen plastic hangers were broken in the crushed wardrobe boxes. The package containing our broom, mop and kitchen grabber disappeared. Ramar advertises that their staff wear masks during the packing and moving process. However, two of them had to be reminded several times to please cover their face. We felt vulnerable due to our weakened immune systems and did not want to take any chance of being exposed to the virus. We gave Ramar one star for not breaking china and for moving the rest of the furniture with only multiple scratches. They did communicate with us after the damage happened, but that doesn't fix their lack of supervision over their moving crew.

My experience with Ramar was incredible. They were very clear with the timing of the movers arriving at my old home in Los Angeles, and at my new home in Austin. The process of the move was seamless, and whenever I had questions representatives from the company (Erik & Melanie) were always happy to help. I highly recommend using them if you would like to move, no matter where you are based—you will not regret it. Service: Interstate moving

Went here to get a vehicle weighed. Very nice lady working at the front. Easy process. Weighed empty and paid. Weighing after it was loaded was free. Only gave 4 stars because I only used the scale so I can't rate moving service.

I used Ramar when relocating through my work. They remained responsive and professional through the process. Since the move was only a couple hours away, the same crew handled the whole process. They were quick, polite, and treated both our belongings and the home with care. This was certainly a positive move experience and a company I would recommend. Melanie coordinated the move well. The crew foreman was also really on top of things. Sadly I can't remember his name at the moment (been a very busy week), but I do remember he brought Junior with him and seemed it could be his son. Here's hoping you also get this crew, if you choose Ramar for your move. Service: Interstate moving

Terrible! Worst help we've ever had! Only one worker showed up on time, the rest were late and didn't show up at all. Slow packing didn't use ANY paper in boxes. A lot of standing around and walking around. We will never use them again!!!
