Allstate Moving and Storage has had my belongings for over a month with zero communication from the company. Every time I call they claim they are entitled to 'store' my belongings. First it was a month. Now they're claiming 30 business days not including holidays. Their 'customer service' is a complete joke. They don't offer any solutions or assistance, just 'I'm sorry ma'am' and explaining that's the way it is. I really hope I don't have to sue them to get my belongings!

I will NEVER recommend this mover. They damaged our stuff. I had insurance but after months' worth of battle they paid me $163 for items worth $1800. I was told about the damage by their own delivery movers. They are BIG time scam. They quoted me wrong amount over the phone and the day of pick up they came up with completely a different and thousands of dollars more. I am reporting them to BBB too for doing insurance fraud.

Moved from NJ to DC. They were very professional and took good care of our items. They delivered my items the same day as they promised they would. I want to give a special shoutout to our moving foreman Khurshed. We had an issue with the service elevator and lot of my items including a crucial piece to re-assemble my bed was stuck in the elevator for 2 hours. Khurshed let all the other team members leave for their next assignments and stayed back for more than 2 hours until the elevator was running again. He made sure he assembled the bed before he left. Amazing professionalism shown. Would definitely use their service in the future.

This is a SCAM moving company. They do an over phone estimate which is friendly and nice. On day of delivery the crew who shows up is a third party (usually Russian or Ukrainian). This crew then initiates the scam by stating you didn't disclose certain items and its going to cost way more money now to move you. This is also the part they disclose they need payment in the form of cash or cashiers check half now and half later only (Another red flag). This i the part were customer service goes out the window. They pitch you off to there manager (not English) who states the same cash demands. Then if you still don't agree on all this they have Ed with Allstate call to bully you and threaten you, your family and any other way possible I can almost George Foreman guarantee you they faked all the positive reviews. The review by Barbara is highly accurate, even if you cut a deal or actually go through with them taking your goods they are going to extort more money out of you by holding your home goods hostage. They run the Moving Scam playbook by the same warnings BBB states on there page. They should be investigated hardcore as I am sure these cash payments for moves are not being reflected to the IRS! Bottom line: Move at your own Risk with Allstate Moving LLC

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!! WARNING DONT BOOK THEM! Wow I had the worst experience with this company. I don't even know where to start! They gave me a quote on how much everything will be then came over be charged me THREE TIMES the price that they quoted me!!! It was around $3K THOUSAND DOLLARS at the end of it!!! I only had a king bed, crib, table with 4 chairs and boxes. I was moving out of an apartment. Then they charged me extra $300 for boxes and didn't tell me it would cost more . If they told me before I would have went and got free boxes up the street from a grocery store. Then they charge for extra distance to walk to my apartment when they knew ahead of time I was on the fifth floor! They charge you extra if you have mirrors, vacuum, toys or anything that you might forget to tell them. That's isn't even the worst part. They said it would take 3-13 days to deliver to me. It took them 21 days to deliver my things to me and MADE EXCUSES of why it was taking longer. They said they can't ship it because they are sending my stuff to another company who will be picking up other people's belongings and then deliver it to them first even though I was the first costumer! I paid them $3k THOUSAND dollars and they kept on lying and making excuses while I was in my new home with my 1 year old BABY with nothing for 3 weeks!!!!! They kept on pushing it off and pushing it off and saying the drivers are delayed because they woke up late and had to stop to eat and blah blah blah!!!! SO UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!! DONT TRUST THEM! They will give your things to another company to send it if your traveling out of state!! They will lie and STEAL your money from you!!! They don't care about your stuff and how fast you need it!!! All they care about is your money and will SCREW YOU OVER!!!! The WORST company EVER!!!!!!!!! They don't even deserve a star!!
