I placed an order on Monday and was told there are no set delivery days for specific towns and that they would have it to me by the end of the week. Friday evening I realized I hadn't seen them. I figured they were just short staffed and busy so I waited. Monday was a holiday so I gave them until Tuesday as a dead line and still never received my delivery. Finally, Wednesday I called to find out what was going on and they never even had my order placed! I've moved onto a more dependable provider. The few cents off per gallon is not worth the inconsistency. What if I was in a pinch and absolutely needed the oil last week?

I ordered oil on Thursday and paid for it we where told it would be delivered on Friday. Friday came and no delivery I called the office at 4p.m. and was told it was on the truck. Sometime went by around 615p.m. I called back looking g for oil I ordered. There delivery driver RANDY called back very rude and told me it was delivered at 1130 a.m. which was a complete lie. I have a ring doorbell camera and a ring spot light camera that both point to the road discount oil never ever came on the road around that time. He tells me my camera's don't matter when he insisted I got my oil. My tank was empty when he got here and you have to pass by my wife's office she would have seen them. This guy is very rude very much of a lieing person. We have moved on to a different company with better people to deal with. Keene police watch our videos and want us to press charges that's how bad he was on my property. Trust me stay away from the company nothing good comes from dealing with them

Consistently the best price in Keene. Ten cent discount for cash/fast payment. Good people. I've only used their service once, but the fellow was competent. Who can ask for more? I'm confused about the below rating since I, almost always, just ask for the minimum fill which I think is 150 gallons and there's never been a charge for that. They do charge for emergency fills and fills less than minimum. Hey those trucks aren't free or cheap to run. Very helpful staff, in person and on the phone. Recommended. **updated 11-20. Had a oil water heater failure that I could not fix. Prompt response, superb tech who was very knowledgeable. Total cost much less than I had expected.

Discount Oil is a great asset to the community. I had oil delivered yesterday from delivery driver Max. Great guy, pleasant and professional. Discount Oil must be a great place to work, as it was obvious that Max enjoyed his job. Again thanks for the great service.

After being a customer for 4 years I called to get a delivery in August to get ahead of the winter season and get a better price. Once I confirmed my address they informed me that they THINK they are no longer delivering to my area and would need to call me back the following day to confirm the change. I had NOT recieved any prior communications about delivery area changes or the termination of delivery routes. They did call back the next day and the woman advised it is unsafe for the drivers to travel so far for the delivery I had requested. Understandable in the winter months but they refused to deliver in August!! Glad I didn't wait till winter to call. The entire customer experience with this company has been frustrating from the beginning. The deliveries were very slow and required multiple call backs to actually get a delivery. I would not recommend this company!

If I could give zero stars I would. This company is terrible I told them I didnt have any oil I schedule a delivery and they didnt show up after they already told me I'd get it delivered for sure . I have a baby at home and o told them but they didnt care they wouldnt come back out till another 2 days. Terrible customer service. When I called them to find out about the oil they were rude and hung up on me. I'll never buy from them again and dont recommend them to anyone. Their prices are also expensive

I don't recommend having an account with these guys. They will not work with you if you have a complaint about a service tech. I never got a call back both times I asked to speak to someone. One of the techs immediately upon entering my house, cornered me in my own house, and berated me about politics. I barely opened my mouth and asked him to stop repeatedly. Since I was home alone, I tried to appease him because I was afraid for my life! Then I was charged double by him for the time he took berating me! $166.51 (parts were $30.) The Bill came back at $158.64! So I paid an extra &7.87, that I'm sure I'll never see reimbursed. After calling twice about this incident, I got no where. No call backs. No apology, nothing. I will not ever use them again. They're scary!

Very Bad experience in using this company. I normally do not use them but their prices were low and oil for my tenant was low and tenant was away. We set up a date which would have worked fine. However they did not come that day but two days later for the delivery. Oil ran out pipes froze. Tenant came home to find water everywhere and 30 degrees in the apartment. I called Discount instead of my usual heating repair service thinking it was an issue they caused because of the missed delivery and would remedy the problem or at least get the heat on. Well they did get the heat on but also charged 200 to do so (my regular service charges 120). Besides that it cost 364.85 for a plumber to come and fix the pipes. When I called and spoke to them about this issue they rudely informed me that that is the way they conduct business and that was that. They may have treated other customer fairly but not in this case. Sadly I learned that saving on a lower price per gallon is not the smartest choice.
