Everything I need is available here. The lumber is much better quality than the other big box stores, and there are people all through the store ready to help you with whatever you need.

Always great for your standard hardware needs. However, I would love to see them get a better selection of sch 40 PVC fittings. Particularly a wider range of reducer bushings, reducer couplings and male and female adapters. I do not think I am alone in this.

Business hours on google say that they are open on New Years and drive all the way there and they are closed. Not that hard to update your business hours. Not only this but one of the worst customer service places ever. Was loading lumber once with a broken wrist and cast on and a guy in the yard came over to me to tell me they were closing soon and then went on his way. I have always been treated as if I was inconveniencing them.

Always friendly and helpful staff, Easy to park, and navigate through the store itself. plenty of tools on hand, a great selection of nuts and bolts for the quick pick up. I would like to see an expansion of Farm type product though. Given the area it's in, I find myself thinking i might have to go to TSC to pick up a few bits and bobs, it feels a bit standard and I am asked if i have an account with them, get away from that. It makes it feel industrial and not the neighborly place it should be.

I have always had good experiences at Belletetes. I bought all the materials for building my house, addition, barn, wood sheds, and garage, and everything to maintain them, for 40+ years. I've gotten to know many of the staff (many of whom are neighbors), and find them very helpful. Some folks who write reviews don't like to shop locally, and would prefer to spend their money with large corporations. I like to support local businesses, so that they will be able to stay around and employ local people. Not every customer is easy to please, but can be quick to write bad reviews, rather then trying to resolve problems. Treat others with respect and they will reciprocate.

Great lumber yard and hardware store. Because it's local, I expected it to be more expensive than the big box stores, but I have been surprised. They seem to be able to undercut Home Depot on a lot of stuff, including lumber. And their lumber delivery charge is very reasonable.

Been going to Belletetes for awhile. Always a good selection and no problems finding what I need. Millwork always helpful and knowledgeable when I've used that service. They did an outstanding job on a deck slider with integrated pet door a few years ago. Recently, when I had problems with a front entry door order, upper management stepped in and quickly rectified the problem. Will always go to Belletetes first.

I have been shopping at the Peterborough Belletete's since the 1970s. The prices have always been good; the selection of tools, supplies, and lumber has always been good and it keeps improving; and the customer service in the store and the lumber yard has consistently been absolutely outstanding. I shop for my small home repairs and for Christmas and birthday presents, but everyone treats me as if I were a big-time contractor spending thousands of dollars. They are wonderful about special orders and the much-needed, generous advice is always spot on.

This place has a friendly and helpful staff. They carry a diverse and high quality selection of building materials and home goods. Return policy is great and simple. The yard is very nice and organized. Usually fast and easy to get in and out. I've been here more than a dozen times and never had a bad time. Overall, a much more pleasant experience than Home Depot.
