Predatory company. Do not use them. Never enter into an account with them. If you move to a house with their tank, send them a certified notice to remove it in 30 days or they owe a $1.00 a day storage fee. DO NOT USE THEM!!! Terrible customer service. Trespassing and theft is how they decided to respond to my not renewing a contract with their predatory company.

Very expensive to get set up for thier one year promotional prices. They also wont transfer you to a supervisor...and any one you talk to is at a call center.. cant get anyone local.

We are autofill, AmeriGas allowed me to run out of Propane. We asked for a remote sensor, none installed. Froze the house and did damage. Not a great response.

They created my account ( just bought the house) and tested/ delivered Propane to house the next day. They purged the air out off the system and made sure that everything worked before they left. I was very happy with their service

Because I have a dog who sometimes does not like strangers, I requested a note be placed on my account about calling first. With my most recent service request due to a gas leak, I called twice to make sure someone would call first. Despite my efforts, I received no call and the service tech arrived unannounced. Luckily, someone was home and no problem occurred and the leak problem was resolved. All of the people I've dealt with at AmeriGas (formerly Keene Gas) have been great but it's clear they are trying to use an AmeriGas system that is greatly flawed. It's been nice talking to people in Cleveland and the state of Washington but trying to get a message to local people is almost impossible. Also, I learned that unless you've got over 30 minutes to wait on the phone, you best key in the code for "gas leak" because that's the only way to get to a human being in a reasonable amount of time. I feel sorry for the workers (Customer Service Reps, delivery people, technicians) because they seem to be doing their best and are equally frustrated with a flawed system. After complaining, I did receive a call from the Service Manager who did his honest best to be reassuring. In summary, the AmeriGas system is greatly flawed and needs significant attention but the workers are GREAT!

I've run out of propane three times even on an automatic refill program. Calling AmeriGas is a pain because of long waiting times (sometimes 30 minutes to an hour). I've been waiting a week for a service manager to call me back. I've experienced two no show appointments and the company doesn't even call to let you know the appointment is cancelled. I've smelled an odor each time the tank ran empty. The first two times AmeriGas just refilled the tank and stated the odor was normal. The third time they had us evacuate the house with a newborn because they now expected a gas leak. They shut off the gas because they think there is a leak but they couldn't repair or even detect where the leak is because it was too late (6:30pm). I have now gone eight days with no propane and I can't even get someone from the service department on the phone much less a service appointment. There is absolutely no reason anyone should be doing business with this company as there are far better options.

I'd rather lose a leg than ever deal with these people again. 6+ months and they still won't come pickup their propane tank!!! We have called and scheduled 3 times and each time no one shows up. Plus, you have to be on hold for greater than an hour no joke each time you call. The customer service is absolutely horrible. Do yourself a favor and go with a reputable company even if you have to pay slightly more.

Very poor service, all in all. The office has no communication with the drivers, the customer service is poor, very rude, and some of the delivery men seem inexperienced. Lately the call wait time has been ridiculous. I understand it's fall now, so there will be more calls, but no matter the time or day, it says 90 minute wait. We waited for 40 minutes and it still said 90 minute wait. Let's see how the process goes to switch companies.

Terrible customer service. I was told my cost to refill my tank was going to be $300.00 . There is no gage on their tank or on the truck. So, that's $300 no matter how much propane they put in. I am very happy with my new company. I may have to take Keene Gas to court as they have yet to return my $260.00 deposit, its been 10 weeks and counting.

Wow!! Hahaha!! Laughable behavior from this company!!! We moved into a home that had an existing Keene Gas account.. they said they "Had to top off" our tank so they could bill it out, etc.. Never got a bill, no call back, no note... they just came 3 weeks later and ripped the tanks off the wall with no notice whatsoever.. Hello Dead River Propane!! Still shakin my head...
