They were extremely rude and unprofessional. Multiple staff members gave me weird looks & attitude when I politely asked if they could add mayo to my sandwich?? AND they proceeded to forget the mayo! Major waste of money & worst sandwich I’ve ever eaten. So sad because I’ve been going for years & used to love it there.

My kids and I stopped in to order sandwiches from here. I watched four different people make ready to eat food without using gloves. I asked the cashier “they don’t use glove to make the sandwiches?” She shrugged her shoulders. A woman making sandwiches then turned around. I asked her the same question. She answered that they use gloves on cold food. I told her that I just watched four people make cold sandwiches without gloves. She then asked if I wanted her to use gloves making my sandwiches. After determining she was making someone else’s sandwiches, she continued to do so without gloves. I am pretty sure that I am not alone in not wanting my food possibly contaminated from workers’ bare hands. Who knows if they wash their hands after using the restroom. I find it really egregious that when questioned, they pretty much shrugged and continued on without gloves, despite there being a box of gloves on the shelf above. To my knowledge, in the state of NJ, ready to eat food like lettuce and lunch meat that they were touching, should be handled with gloves to prevent the spread of disease. Do not eat here if you value staying healthy!

Best hoagie on the island. Stuffed with meat. Priced right. There’s a reason why there are so busy. My favorites are the Italian, Corn Beef Special, and Cheese Steak. Pro tip: order ahead for pick up. Thank me later.

I always love this place, enjoy the convenience, prices and quality are great, although my yesterday morning takeout breakfast sandwiches ‘Bacon & Egg and Pork Roll & Cheese’ were under cooked and the rolls soaked with the unpleasant cooking liquid, need to drain it off, not tasty or enjoyable. Will skip breakfast here next time, but everything else is fine.

Delicious and good for the price. Had a chicken burrito that was yummy yummy and filling! Forgot to take a picture after the first bite cause it was so good!! Nice staff and didn’t wait to long.. I will recommend this place.

It’s that quaint, friendly corner store and deli that everyone wants! Fresh produce, dairy and pretty much anything else you’d find in a supermarket. Hoagies, Burgers, Cheesesteaks, Breakfast Sandwiches, Salad Bar, Beach Deliveries, Take Out Catering Trays.

The absolute best sandwich spot in Avalon! I worked there for years and our family never gets our hoagies, cheesesteaks or sandwiches from anywhere else. I highly recommend the crispy chicken buffalo wrap!

This place has the best pool hot tub combo w beautiful landscaping and you really feel like you are in a tropical resort. Our room as you can see is amazing, plus our huge TV had the big ten network and other stations you wouldn't normally get. Free wifi, beach tags included, location location location! We cant wait to come back 🤗

Love it here! My husband is a carnivore and I'm vegan, we can both be happy here! He loves their cheesesteaks, I love the veggie hoagie and also now they have the Beyond Burger. Will be back again!

Decent deli with average quality. The rolls and meat are decent, better than dollar store stuff but not Whole Foods type breads, cheeses or meat. We're talking a blue collar man's sandwich. Nothing artisanal or high end quality as far as the hoagie ingredients are concerned. Your best bet may be with one of the chicken choices, they grill that fresh. They also have a nice salad bar with nutritional options for the health conscious.
