ordered a chicken cheese steak and bacon cheese fries. the sandwich was a 8/10 no complaints. however the fries were very disappointing. overloaded with nacho cheese when they said mozzarella on the menu and the fries were soggy and cold. i expected better from the great carmen’s

I flew in from Atlanta for a family function and had to go by Carmen's for the Roast pork sandwich. I added Long hots and sharp provolone. Everything was absolutely delicious! Wish there was a Carmen's in Atlanta.

I'm not one to complain. But I really don't appreciate a hoagie being 15 dollars and it being a lettuce sandwich. There 3 peices of meat spread thing and 3 handfuls of lettuce. I will never order from here again. They came highly recommended but I disagree. Wawa is a better hoagie for 1/2 the price. I feel like I got RIPPED OFF. What a sad sad hoagie 👎👎 and what's worse is the flavor is TRASH. Bland. Like salty BROWN lettuce

Sandwich was great. Just the way I remembered them; fresh roll and a good amount of meat. Their medium Sandwich was enough for 2 meals. The one thing I didn't like is finding that I paid a 51 cent surcharge to use a debit card for a $12 purchase. There was nothing posted in the store where I paid warning me of this surcharge!

Oh how the mighty have fallen... This place was amazing like 3 years ago but somehow they expanded, changed some things and now I waited 45 minutes for my order after being told it was a half hour to pickup. Also, the menu changed and the salad with Italian dressing my daughter ordered was turned into an Italian hoagie without questioning it or telling me they no longer have salads or changing the online menu. I went to this location because the Del Buonos one consistently screws up my order.

Carmen’s used to be a South Jersey institution. I rarely write bad reviews but their phone doesn’t work and I want Carmen’s to stick around. They forgot my sweet peppers, had to get back in line and wait when it would be pretty easy to see and get that taken care of. No big deal. I used to get a gooey, disgustingly delicious buffalo chicken cheesesteak here. This was a totally different sandwich. Chicken cheesesteaks shouldn’t be entire pieces of chicken. Maybe they’re out of chicken cheesesteak? Fine, but there’s no hot sauce, we are south Jersey degenerates, we want a nasty drip of chicken fat, blue cheese and hot sauce to run down our arm. I’m not on the Jenny Craig diet. I really thought they forgot it or I got someone else’s order but if you look close someone tried to put a little on there.

Rated Memorable by Roadfood. Tasty cheesesteaks and hoagies with infinite topping options. Local-brand sodas. Probably one small sandwich is enough for two old geezers. The premises have expanded so even in Covid limited dine-in and restrooms are available.

Sometimes you just crave the classics. Here is an oven roasted turkey hoagie from @carmens_deli_nj and the Bellmawr location. As I mentioned, oven roasted turkey, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, oil, and vinegar on a @del_buonos_nj roll. Doesn't get much simpler and better than that for a hoagie. Meat cut sandwich thin, no shortage of fresh crispy water veggies, and I am a lover of onions as well. For additional price, you can add pickles and peppers which I wish I would had done.
