I stopped by coz I was intrigued what was inside this fresh market. It is like a small grocery store with liquors. The store looked clean and nice. The associate at that checkout was helpful and nice. ~Mian

Fresh, hot donuts made to order!? I’m in sugary sweet heaven! I surprised my family and ordered a dozen of the most popular items I saw. Maple bacon (maple n bake), lemon drop, French toast, inside out Boston cream and strawberry glazed are just some that were ordered (and completely enjoyed with a morning cup of coffee sitting on the porch swing!) This place is a must try if you are on LBI! 🍩🌊 ~Rebecca

I flew in from Atlanta for a family function and had to go by Carmen's for the Roast pork sandwich. I added Long hots and sharp provolone. Everything was absolutely delicious! Wish there was a Carmen's in Atlanta. ~JOSEPH

Tried this place after a terrible dinner experience at a local restaurant down the street. What a delight it was to be greeted by smiling faces after the service we put up with for dinner for close to 2 hours. Oh, and the ice cream was DELICIOUS! Great ending to our chowder fest weekend and season on LBI! Will for sure be back next season and seasons to come with the grandkids! ~Bob

Discovered this phenomenal FIND a year ago and we went back again yesterday, and oh boy it certainly didn't disappoint! Some changes to the menu but it is one of my favorite dining experiences on the island. The oysters are ridiculously good! We absolutely loved the tuna tartare and the crab fried rice. YUM! P.S. Chef, PLEASE BRING BACK THE LOBSTER MAC N CHEESE!! Amazing food and ambience. ~Diane

I've done two eco-tours with the crew from South End Surf and Paddle, and both were fantastic experiences start to finish. The first tour was with my wife and was both of our first time on a SUP. Everyone was incredible at getting us comfortable on the board quickly and had us paddling the bay in no time. The second trip was this past week with my 10 year old and we had a blast! Everyone from South End treated us like family, took the extra time with her to get her comfortable and make her first trip a memorable one and a huge success. If you are thinking about doing a SUP tour or lesson, stop looking, stop thinking and give Ken and team a call. You WILL have a blast and there is no better way to spend a morning on the island! Unsure if you can do it? These guys have you covered! My family loved it so much we decided to take the plunge and invest in our own board today. Again South End came through with a borderline ridiculous selection of boards, and helped find the perfect board for our family. Everyone was insanely helpful, Ken personally helped us get the board setup and even made sure we got it strapped to the Jeep safe and solid for the haul home. We left with the board, paddle, leash, fins - everything we needed to get on the water, plus 3 excited kids looking forward to their turn for a ride. Can't say enough good things about these folks. Don't waste any more time reading reviews and give them a visit/call etc! ~Mike

This is absolutely the best bike rental place in LBI hands-down. Mary Lou is so amazing she makes you feel like family every single time you go there. She always looks up our favorite bikes from the previous year and you can just tell that they are so genuine and love what they do. Seeing her is always one of the highlights of our yearly LBI trips.
