Deli personnel need a major energy fix. No self carry and the three employees clearly were competing against one another on who could serve the customer the slowest. I typically don’t complain or write reviews but in this case I felt obligated to let someone know that this is happen ing in your prestigious deli. From number 46 to my number 53 was 40 minutes times. Completely unacceptable. Just my two cents

Always busy always a great selection. Yes the lines are long yes isles are crowded. My only concern is one thing with you guys are you trying to see what the Market will bare with prices. Listen to whom ever in corporate is ordering vegetables selling over ripe or not fully ripened fruits and vegetables when the cost is up this high is kinda like a slap in my face. Green potatoes are great to make alachol not consume. I'm considering taking business elsewhere I know it doesn't matter to you but I would rather buy vegetables at dryers farms and know they stand behind quality over quantity

Why are the employees at the deli counter so slow? And why do they ignore order instructions? The store wants us to place our order and go shopping but we can’t because their team ignores our requests. For the third week in a row; my husband took a ticket (#40 - they were on #36) and he shopped 5 aisles and returned to #36!! So he waited his turn and asked that the cold cuts, especially the bologna, are sliced very thin. He also pointed out that the past two times it wasn’t sliced as requested, and the deli clerk rolled his eyes!!! And as I expected, my husband comes home with lunch meat sliced regular not thin - AND - both the ham and the bologna are LOW SALT!!! And that isn’t the first time that’s happened to us either. My husband likes this store because it has what he’s shopping for and the prices are more reasonable than other stores locally. But I think the Clark SR falls short in quality and service. We all complain while waiting and I bet, we are all complaining when we get home and open our orders. Gheez - it’s been like this for far too long - fix the issues already! Pay more per hour if you have to! Cross train people. Make a precut selection of thin sliced and shaved cold cuts available! Maybe I need to apply for a job to get things done right!

Asked personel for hand basket, Guy responds rudely staring "There arent any, People keep stealing them". A Lady right next to us checking out takes the basket with her out the door & he literally just watches her walk out w/ it doesn't say a word. I wonder why the hand baskets are being "stolen" -_- Very poor & unprofessional customer service.

The the grab and go deli section looked pitiful and barely had any cheese. They didn't have Swiss cheese, Provalone Cheese or Mozzarella cheese.They don't have message chocolate chip cookies at the Clark Shoperite so I had to go to the Garwood Shoperite which always have everything that I needed. The Clark Shoperite is always a disappointment. I couldn't find the Walkers Shortbread Fingers.

It was very clean. I am very iffy about doing anything in Clark since the mayor does not welcome us blacks. So for now 4 stars until the hate goes

First and foremost, I like coming here when I can do the shopping on my own, but I recently got injured so I placed an order so I can just come and pick it up. Well that experience was beyond horrible. I literally waited 25 minutes in my car for someone to finally come out with my groceries. I'm sorry, but that is beyond ridiculous. If your store cannot handle the orders due to lack of personnel or what not then you should not be charged for the service.

I came to this Shoprite looking for something in particular and couldn't find it anywhere. Lines were still a little crazy but it seemed to be moving. Walked out with nothing so had to go somewhere else to get what I needed.

This was a horrible shopping experience. You couldn’t get down isles nor to the shelves. When you mention it to an employee, they’re either rude or shrug with a “that’s the way it is” attitude. There were also a lot of accessibility issues. I had to walk in the road with my cart because they had blocked even the sidewalk. Poor management is obvious. You don’t bring ALL the pallets out at once and then slowly work on them. You bring out what you’re going to work on ONLY. They even do this in the frozen food section with ice cream. I saw an employee throwing boxes of pasta which are now all broken I’m sure. I keep telling myself not to go to this shoprite. Avoid it.
