Costco at East Hanover is a good balance of inventory and crowds. It has reasonable inventory and the crowds are manageable so I go there. The staff is very friendly and efficient which is why billing is a breeze especially for self checkout where staff helps you. Only issue is returns. The returns line is always slow, the staff takes a lot of time processing returns.

Love this Costco, regardless it’s a bit further away from me, I much prefer the parking lot and the tire center location is off to the side as well. Costco tend to cater to the area, which is fine by me. This Costco has more unique foods than you would find at another Costco for example. No gas station and no liquor, but everything else about it is great!

A little secret with the membership here. Buy the executive membership - while it is twice the price of the regular one, they give you a rebate check for app if your purchases at the end of the year. If you stack that with the Costco visa card rewards, it can cover the cost in full or even more (depends how much you shop over the year). Easily obtainable with a family!

It's my go to store EVERYTIME!!! From the mini chocolate chip cookies to the Taquitos I never fail to come at least twice a month to Costco's!!!! I only wish they would bring back the Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches and All American Chocolate Cake!

Store is great, with some amazing deals. However, if you're worried about Covid numbers rising, may I suggest a quieter, less populated time of week/day than Saturday morning during a Holiday weekend. Monday or Tuesday evening, at around 8pm, seems to be better. Much less stressful.

Been a member for 12 years. Today my husband was the one checking out using my membership card. The cashier gave him a hard time scrutinizing the member ID because it was my name and picture not his even though we have the same last name. I’ve NEVER had an issue before and a cashier never ever even looked at the picture on the card before. All of a sudden a black man is the one using the card and now they want to say there’s a problem?! Hmmm interesting 🧐 with the amount of money we spend here, Costco should do better and be more considerate

Store is good, well stocked. However, the staff is rude. We were waiting at the membership desk for 5 minutes while 2 employees were fidgeting on their computer and other employees were busy doing something or the other. We just went ahead to ask are we on the right queue as there was no one else and the employee rudely responds can't you see we are busy. She didn't even care to listen to our question. We waited for another 10 minutes before the manager came and asked one of the emoloyee to attend to us and they started arguing on that. The attendant was very helpful after she took us but overall experience of new membership desk was a bit annoying for the first 15 minutes while we were just waiting wondering if we are at the right spot.

Love discovering new products at Costco. Don't go as often as I like coz of how crowded it is, even on weekdays but especially on weekends... but maybe that's a good thing. They're definitely experts at getting you to buy more than what you came for.
