One of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. I am a no nonsense, picky and impatient customer when it comes to buying a car. I usually know what I want and what I want to pay before arriving. I did not go through their finance department only sales. Camilla made sure everything was ready for me and kept in constant contact throughout the entire process. She was nice, knowledgeable and flexible with how I wanted my experience to go. Terrible experience with selling a used vehicle through KBB. After KBB made an offer on my car for $18,400 They had me bring it to this dealer. With a 100% clean car fax, zero issues with the car, they claimed a “paint Pen” showed that the car had been completely re-painted which was totally false. They also lied about needing tires and number of keys I had. They re-submitted the bogus information to KBB and then offered $12,000. CarMax just paid me $19,600. This type of practice is what gives car salesman a bad name- even the ones that hide behind the luxury brand. BEWARE. PS- get a new “paint pen”

I purchased my vehicle from Mercedes of Caldwell. We had a smooth transaction. My sales girl Camilla is a sweetheart. The finance manager Eric is a class act. George the sales manager is a great guy. I had a small issue at first and George handled me and the issue like a true professional. We were all happy in the end. I also would like to point out from the minute I got there all the salesmen, Gene and a few others I encountered were more than helpful. They answered all questions and are very knowledgeable. I came here after Mavis Tires in West Orange put the wrong tires on my car. It was a nightmare. I have been with Mercedes’ for about 2 years. I have waited to write this because i see all the wonderful reviews left on the company. I wish i have received that type of service in this business. I have had nothing but terrible customer service from the service department. I have had to call for multiple days with no call back. I had two bubbles on my tires for approximately 5 weeks before they could accommodate me for a tire service with a rental . ( i am a nurse unfortunately i need transportation at all times ) i felt like the company did not care for my safety and did not try to merely accommodate my needs. I am really leaning towards returning the vehicle due to the customer service because i can not afford to continue to deal with this. I am highly upset and disappointed with Mercedes’.

My introduction to the Mercedes Family was at the Paramus location. I brought my 2019 C300 to the Caldwell location as it was in close proximity to my home. From the very first call with the woman who answered the phone to the attentiveness and friendliness of the Service Department I knew that this Caldwell Mercedes dealership was my new home. I felt welcomed and at home with every employee I encountered. On Nov. 22 I decided to stop by and check out the new cars as my lease was coming to an end. I was welcomed at the door by Sales Mgr. George Ikonomakos who had me meet with Sales Consultant Elvis Allkja. Elvis is terrific. He explained my options as to if I should purchase my C300 or lease another C300…… until I saw the Blue Lunar GLC300!!!! It was love at first site. Elvis was very patient with my ambivalence and I never once felt like I was being corned to make a decision. Both Elvis and George clearly explained all of my options available to me and was glad to work with me . I met with Kris Los who expedited the paperwork who explained the contract clearly and who was very friendly. There are not enough superlatives to describe my phenomenal experience at Mercedes at Caldwell. Elvis is a gem and I already recommended a friend of mine to call him after I posted my positive experience on Facebook. My boss is also interested in purchasing a new Sprinter. Once a Mercedes owner always a Mercedes owner. None can compare with the drive, the service, the positive communication, the relaxed atmosphere at the dealership and the high value placed on the relationship with your Sales Consultant, in my case Elvis Allkja. I highly recommend stopping by the Caldwell Mercedes dealership for your next car purchase and ask for Elvis.
