Welcome hOMe! Our classes and teaching team are designed specifically around the intention of meeting you where ever you are on your mat. No prior yoga, fitness, or spirituality practice is required to join the #grassrootsyogafam. We offer classes that range from traditional to contemporary approaches, beginner to seasoned levels, and styles that range from gentle and meditative to high intensity and athletic. Most of our classes are heated through infrared, unheated classes are labeled “no heat” on the schedule. 5% of annual revenue goes back into our community through local non-profit organizations.

I absolutely LOVE Grassroots - been a member since 2018 and there’s no going back. I take more power flow classes but the range of options and workshops they offer allows me to diversify my practice and maintain my sanity through my day to day life. That’s super important, right? I’d say so! :) keep it going Grassroots!

Update: September 2020 Throughout this pandemic, Grassroots has reinvented what it means to practice yoga. Because most enclosed spaces like studios and gyms must be closed to ensure social distancing, Grassroots created a large selection of in-person classes at the park, virtual live classes and on demand options for when you need to practice outside of the live classes. They have provided support, friendship, communication and education throughout this challenging year. Yoga brings so much peace and strength to me and I am grateful that I have had Grassroots to count on. Review from 2019 Where do I start? Grassroots Yoga is hands-down the best studio around. I initially followed LeeAnn to this studio because I love her teaching style. I quickly found out just how amazing ALL of the instructors and staff were. Grassroots classes have a wonderful mix of age, gender, experience and abilities and I have never felt like I needed to keep up to fit in. The classes inspire you to become stronger both physically and mentally. In the last few years, I have seen major change in my strength, ability and commitment to myself to attend classes regularly. Sarah and her staff make every person that walk through the door feel like they are amongst friends. I truly know it is genuine. Lastly, I find it convenient that there is an app for classes and workshops, which helps me to map out my week and coordinate classes with my schedule. If you are looking for a yoga community that you will actually enjoy being a part of, Grassroots is it!

This is the best yoga community I have ever found. I started with the new student pricing during the pandemic, but the outdoor classes have been wonderful during these stressful times. It is completely safe and the teachers have found unique ways to instruct you and give 'cosmic' assists. Pixie is the best, but I have loved every teacher so far. I am so thankful for this studio since it has helped me feel at home in Ventura moving here right before the pandemic. The yogis and teachers are so friendly and kind. I am completely obsessed!

The Grassroots family is amazing!! They’re so kind and thoughtful!! I have been to so many gyms and yoga classes, and I have never felt so welcomed like I do at Grassroots. I am not very flexible or coordinated and I always appreciate Pixie’s ability to teach to a way I can understand and to be compassionate when I sit in child’s pose for 5 minutes. The wide variety of classes, styles, and personalities at the studio is wonderful! I love knowing that the people at Grassroots walk the walk instead of just talking to be heard! Thank you GRs!

Grassroots is the best yoga studio in town. They are super friendly, kind and genuinely care about each of their students. They welcome all levels of abilities which makes their studio less intimating. All of their teachers are very knowledgeable and offer great tips in classes. My husband and I have learned so much about yoga and have improved from day one after taking their classes. Grassroots rocks!

I love Grassroots and its community and teachers. I feel like going to this studio has made me a more calm, caring, and appreciative person and every time I leave, I feel way more relaxed than ever :) I truly believe yoga has changed me and the others around me in a very positive way. Everyone who works at this studio is incredibly strong, loving, welcoming, and bright. Pixie, Nicole, Ana, April, and Angelique are some of the incredible teachers I’ve had the luck and joy to practice with, and I hope for nothing but good and wonderful things for this studio. The atmosphere when you first walk in the door speaks volumes as to how this studio is raising the bar for its members and for this community. The variety of knowledge and movement the teachers bring to their classes is life changing and it would be hard to choose a favorite class or teacher. In the almost exact year I've been a member I've yet to encounter an instructor or employee or member that doesn't share the grassroots love for yoga and community. I highly recommend this studio no matter where you are in your practice!
