My son really wanted to play the drums but I was hesitant because he has ADHD and his attention can wonder. Let me tell you Craig is incredible. He is patient and really cares about teaching all students. From the second I met Craig I knew he was a special teacher. He has taken his time and worked with my son's distractions to make him feel comfortable. It's honestly the best part of my kids week. If I could give Big Bang more than five stars I would. Check it out, you won't regret it!!!

My son has been taking music lessons for 9 years at Big Bang! They are like family. The difference between BB and other places is their interest in your child in all aspects of life. They support all avenues of their students. Different teachers for different levels of ability. They don't just teach songs, they teach music....from the ground up. My son has taken guitar, drums and voice lessons. The best of the best for a reason! Once you try it you'll never go anywhere else!!

Not only did Craig teach him to play, he helped him find his passion which will be with him for the rest of his life. It is a friendly environment and they make you feel like family. I am grateful to have found Big Bang and to Craig Buchman for not only his teaching skills but for caring about each individual student as much as he does. Craig & his music center have been an inspiration to my 7yo's passion for drumming. It's easy to see he prides on connecting with students on their terms, motivating their skills past any self-doubt or impatience. My kid couldn't be happier with the weekly lessons, and the center's remote lessons are just as impressive. He really made the dynamics work, from the kit setup to the interactive tools. The toughest part is ending the session!

I really love Big Bang Music for a number of reasons. One, they are a local small business and the owner is on premises. I feel good supporting a local small business vs a faceless corporation. When you can shake hands with the owner and talk to them and see how much they care about what they do, that makes all the difference. Two, there is no high pressure for sales. They are honest, kind, helpful and give you many options for comparison. Three, the prices aren't jacked up and put on artificial sales. I appreciate this type of business. Third, and probably most importantly, they cater to each person the way they teach. It's not a one size fits all model. Both my children have learning disabilities and were falling behind in the school's classroom instruction. My older son with Dyslexia had difficulties with reading the notes and playing violin. Big Bang got him caught up to speed before the school concert and saved us a lot of frustration. 5 years later my youngest son's turn came to play an instrument. Due to his Dyspraxia, we were struggling with what instrument to choose at school. The school band director suggested clarinet but I thought maybe percussion would be better suited. The school told me the percussion program moves very quickly and my son probably couldn't keep up. We decided to stop by Big Bang Music and Amy was super helpful with helping us choose drums and suggested we stop back when the owner Craig was there, to give my son a demo lesson. We made an appointment two days later and came in to meet with Craig who is a drummer himself. He sat with my son in the drum room and showed him a rock and roll beat. Craig told him to never let anyone tell you that you cannot do something. He said he would work with him personally to help him be a great drummer. My son's eyes lit up wide and he said he LOVED drums. We have been to about a dozen lessons since then and he is already playing simple beats. As a parent of kids with special needs, I cannot express the level of gratitude I have. When your child struggles so much and their self esteem is affected as a result, you are desperate to find that one thing they can be great at and feel good about. Big Bang Music helped us find that and I am very happy. I highly recommend this music center whether you have a child looking to learn an instrument or maybe you feel like you'd like to learn that one thing you always wanted to play but never had the time. They are right around the corner!
