I was here today and asked one of the barbers the price of a shapeup. He said $20. He referred me to another barber who charged me $25 thinking I would not know the price. Barber claimed it was because he used gel. I was a walk in and now lost me as potential long term client.

Cons- This only applies if you want a scissor haircut, I cannot speak to my barbers ability of other styles. Sooo, I have been trying to find a new place after my barber moved to another city. This place is just not it. The barber here left my hair so choppy, and uneven. No smooth transition from the top to the side. Just straight up clumpy, even the back of the neck which is the one spot that you should get right because its just using the electric buzzer, was a little uneven and not nice looking. I showed him a picture of how my hair used to look from other haircuts at different barbers in the past and it looked nothing like it. He lazily slapped on some hair gel at the end, which I never use nor asked for and clumped up my hair straight and spiky, just really odd. I would say maybe you get what you pay for but its 40 bucks (35 for just hair). Not worth it whatsoever. Now you may ask me why didn't you ask them to fix it after? because to be honest it's super awkward to tell them "oh hey you butchered my hair" so there isn't really a great solution. Pros- Great ambiance 10/10, love the place! feels like such a dude hangout, I felt so cool just sitting there and looking at what they did with the place. Music was great too and not blasting your ears off. Services: Scissor cut, Haircut

I got a cut from Danny, just a walk-in, and it was one of the best haircuts I've gotten in the city since before the pandemic and it was super affordable, definitely recommend Service: Haircut

Dani needs to be more professional. He never follows direction and does whatever he wants. I tried the place a few times and it's honestly just not worth it. There is no consistency with the haircut; every time is different, even though you give them the same instructions. If you can see without glasses you might be able to stop him but that's just not a good way to go about a haircut. Pros: The place is clean, the ambiance is nice, and there's a huge attention to details in haircut. Cons: I took my kid for a haircut and he decided to use a dryer to style his hair after adding a bunch of product's (something I didn't ask for and he didn't ask before doing) and the dryer caught on fire and almost burn his head.the dryer was clearly in a rough state with bare cables all over. I don't know why it was still in use. They add products to your hair without asking. Every time. You gotta remind them every time you go there to see if they will stop this time. They don't take it well when you tell them to not do something or stop something they're doing. Not a good look. They take pictures of you to show the haircut, again without asking. The staff talks smack about customers right in front of you. I feel like that it's just unprofessional. The price increases a lot. As far as barbershops go, this one is not worth 35 bucks. Overall, I really can't say I recommend the place. It's time to look for something else for me

Danny boy and the rest of the headquarters team are the only hairdressers I trust to cut my entire family’s hair. He always does a fantastic job (on everyone) and the kids insist on getting a haircut if we go inside. It’s a chill vibe, amazingly low prices and great haircuts. And they also do a phenomenal job with kids, so patient and make it a treat. A must!

I've been here maybe 6-7 times now and I have NEVER received a bad cut. Whether I've showed up later at night or come in as a walk-in last minute, each barber has taken their time to make sure I was satisfied with their work. It's pretty interesting seeing and experiencing the different, unique styles each of the barbers here has, and they all do really great work. These guys seriously put in the hours with cuts often being back-to-back (from what I've seen), but I've never heard any of the guys here complain. You can tell the people here are passionate about their work and want you to look good. This is my go-to spot.

I have been coming here for about 2 years now and have NEVER been disappointed. I always go to Danny, who does an amazing job, but from what I can tell, every barber here is good, and all have loyal customers. It is more expensive than other places in the heights, as other reviewers have said, but the quality is so much better than any other place around. Other's have said they don't offer many services/styles, but I also disagree with this. You're not bound by the styles on the poster--just tell them what you like. The staff is very professional, respectful, and accommodating, and they're just good people. No better place around and I highly recommend.
