We have had Igor from five start plumbing fixed three separate plumbing issues in a year since we moved into a newly purchased house. There was a toilet bowl leak issue that they quickly figured and fixed and didn't charge anything as it turned out to be a minor fix. Also we ran into a sudden bathtub overflow issue due to faulty plumbing by the original installers that caused water gushing into basement. Igor and his team were quick in diagnosing the problem and providing a fix that's likely to hold up despite the originally faulty plumbing. We also recently used them to get our bathroom sink unclogged and fix a non functioning popup drain and they were quick in diagnosing and fixing the problem. The quality of their work is real good and the pricing is very reasonable. Also their billing is straightforward compared to lots of services in the area giving multiple rates for cash vs check vs credit card. This in my book is a big thumbs up. We have also found them to be pretty patient in answering various general questions we had about plumbing in our house. All in all, they are definitely a quality service provider that we have come across so far. Five stars for five star plumbing! We are new homeowners and have bought a fixer upper. Five Star has been come by several times to help us with projects. We needed a gas valve replaced, and a shower valve replaced, and both times, 5 star did it quickly and at low cost. They are also great at answering questions, and will even stop by free of charge to check on an issue and to give you a recommendation. Other plumbers in the area charge for quotes and overcharge for services you don't need. Five Star just wants to do a good job. I will be recommending them to anyone who needs plumbing services. Edit: I also had Aziz come out to help with our furnace when it stopped working on one of the coldest days of the year. He came within the hour, found the issue, went a got the part, and fixed it within a couple hours. He then came back a couple days later to do a small fix with my thermostat. Highly recommend. Answered all questions, was very transparent. Fast and very courteous.

I couldn’t be happier with Sergio and Five Star Plumbing & Heating! My water heater went out, I called several places and they came and installed a new water heater in just a few hours! I used the guys at Five Star as a second opinion and so glad that I did. We had a leak that we weren't sure it was coming from and another plumber was talking about demoing my kitchen to find it and fix the leak. The guys from Five Star came quickly, figured out where the leak was and thankfully very minimal damage to my kitchen was required and were very fair with their estimate. In two hours the problem was fixed and I couldn't be happier. Always a crapshoot when calling a contractor, nice to find guys that who know what they are doing and do it well. I found Five Star online and saw all the positive reviews so I decided to give them a call to come fix my faucet/shower. I gave them a call, got a quote and set up an appointment. Igor arrived on time, and came in wearing mask and gloves, and upon entering, he put on booties. He quickly took care of the problem and now I have a propery working shower. The five star reviews were on point - I'm very, very pleased. I am also happy in the knowledge that when I have a plumbing problem in the future, I have somebody I can call.

First of all, I had NO idea who to call when my kitchen sink sprang a leak the same week the toilet wouldn’t stop running. I wanted to hire a smaller, more local business to address the issues. Found Five Star Plumbing & Heating, located within a couple miles of my condo. I called in the morning, and Bart (owner) arrived just as I was was getting home from work that afternoon. He quickly diagnosed the problem, called Moen to get free replacement parts, fixed the toilet and returned a week later to install the parts. His one-time fee was more than fair, and I assured him that when I have to replace the water heater - as per association bylaws - I’m calling him back. I was so impressed by his work ethic that when I needed the name of a reputable electrician last month, I called him for a referral. His personal plumber is Accu-Mark in Kendall Park. That was good enough for me. So now I have two nearby self-employed business owners that I would happily recommend to anyone looking for quality workmanship at a fair price.

We recently used Five Star for an emergency repair to our water supply line to our house. They were extremely responsive and gave the very best quote. They showed up bright and early at 8 AM and were done by noon. It was a big job including digging a 4 foot deep hole in the yard to find the line. Bart was extremely knowledgeable and had the problem fixed in no time. I highly recommend his service and expertise. A pleasure to work with throughout!

I started to replace a shut-off valve and couldn't complete the job because the diameter of the pipe seemed non-standard. Based on Google reviews, I called Five Star Plumbing to get the valve replaced. Not only did they give me a reasonable estimate but also showed up in a couple of hours after the phone call. Bart and his co-worker were pleasant to work with, had the right skills and got the job done well. No hesitation to call them again.
