Bernie's Tire and Auto serviced my Lexus GS400 for 8 years. They are honest, reliable, trustworthy, fairly priced, have a good clean shop and a great group of people. They are also great diagnosticians. I found them because I had a EVAP code that Lexus didn't diagnose and fix properly. The dealer couldn't do it! Bernie's diagnosed it like they were changing a tire. They also helped me donate my vehicle years later. While I don't live as close anymore, I recently called Bernie to help me with a pre purchase inspection, but unfortunately it was too far away. That's the level of trust I have with them. Still, I know I can rely on them for any car repair, and trust them to do it in an honest, reliable and fairly priced way. You bring your car here and you don't ever need to worry or go elsewhere.

My BMW 330XI coupe was experiencing issues where the engine was sputtering and I called Bernie based on reviews I have seen. First, he was the one who picked up the phone and he was very nice to speak to. I brought my car in and he walked me through the diagnosis so I knew exactly what was wrong (2 cylinders were misfiring). He even let me know based on the diagnosis what DIDN'T need to be fixed so he was very transparent. The car was fixed in a few hours and it was running perfectly again by end of day. I highly recommend Bernie's shop and his son (I apologize as I have forgotten his name) was the best mechanic for the job. Thanks!

Update to prior post: Took my Audi to a dealer for a recall issue. They of course ran a full diagnostic in an attempt to take advantage of my car being in their shop. Estimated cost: $4,460. Took work description to Bernie's. Total cost of needed repairs: $406 (save for 1 hr of labor, all parts). Audi cost for the work Bernie's performed: $682. So Bernie's was 60% of the cost on like repairs and I avoided more than $4K of unnecessary work. Thanks Bernie's! I'm a satisfied customer for more than 20 years of Bernies. I've known Bernie and now his son, BJ, to be fair, honest and trustworthy. Our extended family has maintained all sorts of cars at Bernies--both new, used and cars on their last legs. Ford, BMW, Audi, Buick, Honda, Lexus--they do it all. We've bought used cars for our kids from Bernies, assured that they know the history of the car's maintenance. I've brought used cars to Bernie to evaluate. They've always acted as trustworthy counselors, providing advice as to when to repair and when to move on and buy another car. In short, recommend Bernie's highly.
