We spent a lovely afternoon with John and his family, meandering through lavender, picking raspberries and oops, forgot honey. A delightful experience, tucked away in Monmouth County. Cute little shop with tons of lavender goodies. Great for young children!

A truly hidden gem. I remembered them when they were up in Hoboken street fair. You pay 20 dollars per car and have and 1 and a half hours to pick lavender. (More than enough time, we were there about an hour). Host was helpful and knowledgeable. Left with some delicious honey and lovely cream! Highly recommend for a peaceful morning or afternoon out.

Bought a French lavender and English plant. John was amazing explaining the differences between both plants and guiding us through the farm. Highly recommend visiting this place.

I found Pleasant Valley online while looking up lavender farms in NJ. I think we paid $20 for the car for U-Pick Lavender and you get a bundle included in the price. They say you can stuff about 200 stems into the bundle, but I think we ended up with roughly 150 - but only because we were kind of hot so we stopped picking. The staff here are SUPER nice and very helpful. They take you out into the field and teach you where to cut and which ones are the best to cut. There are a ton of bees here but because lavender is a natural sedative, they were all super laid back and docile. They don't really bother you and just kind of fly away when you approach. We spent about 1.5 hours here picking and taking pictures and it was a great family activity.

What a FANTASTIC place! Both the owners were so very friendly, gracious, and helpful. Loved the short tour, the gorgeous location, and all the fields of lavender!!! Ellen gave us an excellent recommendation and directions for a fabulous lunch at Alternate Endings Beer Company in Aberdeen.

We had such a nice time here! It was a wonderful experience and all of us from the Paramus Women's Club had so much fun making amazing crafts, with the help of our wonderful guide of course! This really was an experience like no other, and it smells amazing too!💜💜😍😍😍

Drove an hour to find this place and it's barely half an acre. The pictures do not show what is actually going on. You think you're in the middle of the woods but it's a residential area. And it seems the neighbors are not to happy. Google maps brings you to the neighbors drive way. On a positive note the lavender did smell nice.

My first visit and I had a wonderful time smelling all the lavender. It was so beautiful and the farm was the right size to roam around.

This was a great experience. The owners were both informative, helpful, and lovely to chat with. The shop has lots of lavender based products to buy. I bought some lavender simple syrup and it has been a tasty addition to my tea lattes.

I love every product I have purchased. I use the lavender scrub weekly and my skin is so soft, even in the winter. I also use the dried lavender in my bedroom and smells amazing and helps me sleep!
