I wouldn’t even give a 1 star for my experience. I called this place because it’s local for my kitten than has issue with his tail. Person that picked up the phone told me to call the hospital because my kitten needs surgery. First of all, how can you tell over the phone without seeing my kitten that he needs a surgery? So unprofessional and unknowledgeable. I’m not a vet but I know for sure before coming up with a diagnosis pet should be seen first of and only after the treatment plan would be established. Here this person, I don’t even know if it was a doctor or just a receptionist, decided right of the bet over the phone that my kitten needs a surgery. Sucks that this is the only place in my town. By the way, I did get an appointment someplace else today and my kitten didn’t need a surgery, just some rest and pain meds.

I have had to bring my cat in for multiple visits due to a bacterial infection which has led to discovery of other potential issues. Dr. Simon and the staff have been beyond accommodating, patient and kind. Dr. Simon takes her time to speak with me and answers any and all of my questions. The staff thoroughly will go over the billing process and explains all fees, they even submit my insurance claims for me, which is beyond helpful. I truly feel my cat is in the best hands and I trust the staff tremendously. Kudos to Northvale Vet!!

It’s hard to think clearly and write this after we lost such a big part of our lives yesterday but it needs to be said. It was very clear that 16 year old beloved Pug Oliver reached the end of his journey on this earth yesterday. I was having a hard time finding someone to let us be present during a euthanasia due to Covid. I called here because my kitten had recently been spayed through CLAWS and I remembered them to be great through that experience. When I called to ask about Oliver, Jennifer was so kind. She explained how it would be done given the circumstances and assured us that someone would be able to be with our boy the entire time. They even took us right away. Dr Simon and Jennifer were both so kind to us. I have had pets all of my life, and I have had to make this difficult decision far too often, but I can tell you I have never felt more true compassion from a Vet than I did with Dr Simon. She cried along with us as Oliver passed. I would highly recommend this animal hospital to everyone, especially during that very difficult time.

Dr Simon is absolutely the best vet there could be! I came to her 4 years ago in such a panic to find a vet that truly cared about my baby, where I had been going they treated her like a number instead of my beloved family member. Well I found it! If it wasn’t for Dr Simon my baby would have been long gone, today she is 13 1/2 Thank you Dr Simon ❤️

Dr. Simon is one of the most compassionate and caring Veterinarians I have ever met. Her patience and love for animals is beyond words. She has patience and time to answer all your questions and help your furry companion. All in all, I'm glad to have taken my cat to her. She really has helped get better and I will always be thankful to her.

As a first time mom to a 3 month old kitten, I have to say Dr. Simon and her staff were very helpful and put me at ease with all my questions. They handled/carried my kitten so well ; you can tell they really love what the animals and what they do. Amazing staff and office very clean.

Excellent care! Dr. Simon will treat your babies like her own!!!! She even hugged and kisses my cats during the exams. Not to mention extremely thorough medical care and evaluations. Love this place. I also see charity kittens coming in and out. Gotta love a Vet that gives back. 🐾💕. I can't say enough good things about this place and Dr. Simon.

This new Veterinary Clinic is amazing!!! Beautiful colors and spacious. They have the most friendliest customer service. The people there are very friendly and informative. They're equipment is update and state of the art. The doctor has always met my expectations. Best of all they treat my babies(dogs) wonderfully. Also the location is prefect for me and close to my home. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with any pets or animals. **Forgot to mention there is available parking, which helps a lot.
