I have reptiles that I care about, and I'd like my vet to as well. After changing from my last vet I'm blown away by how different the treatment was. It was a great experience and Dr. Kupersmith as well as the assistant (Sorry, terrible with names) were outstanding. Can't rate these people highly enough from the Doctors to the people at the front desk. Everyone seems to not just work with animals but love to do it. Thanks guys. Mr Spaghetti thanks you too.

I called in the afternoon for my sick chicken and from start to finish the staff were friendly, caring, patient and accommodating. I was able to be squeezed in same day for her to get the care she needed. They also generously honor a military discount. It was a pleasure and we thank you!

This review is not directly reflective of the quality of the services my animal received; but, it is a review of my overall lasting impression of the care that my animal had. Our primary doctor, a Dr. Cromwell I believe, was absolutely fantastic. She was friendly, but serious and to the point, as if she genuinely wanted to help our animal and then get to the next family in line to help theirs. She treated our cat carefully and professionally, and took her time really trying to find a cause of issue that we came for (Our stray cat had a limp for a month). The reason I won't be returning again is because of her helping staff member. The supporting staff member was the first to meet us, and asked us questions about the cat. I thought she was actually accounting for what we were telling her before she made her first move towards the cat. I told her that the cat is friendly, but feral, and not easily handled unless for brief amounts of time. Also told her that the cat gets in fights outdoors, and has No Vaccinations to date. The staff member proceeded to force pull Little Gray out of the carrier without greeting it or warming it up to the room, gloveless, and when he got upset at her for holding him, the woman tossed the him off of the check-up table and onto the floor, knowing well that we came for a concern about the cat's limping. The woman had no patience or care, and she treated us and our animal with a noticeable chip on her shoulder. Every other staff member was a Joy to talk to, but this one staff member is the reason I can't return to Animal and Bird Health. I hope she one day takes after Dr. Cromwell: Despite how understaffed and overly busy the facility was that day, our cat and family were treated so well by her and the other office staff. That one staff member just made us and our cat anxious, and she could have aggravated our cat's leg by pulling that stunt.

GREAT experience here! Dr. Gallini, Heather, and Korie were so helpful and helped my Ziggy parakeet so much. They are kind, sweet, and very compassionate about animals. They are patient with questions and explaining the medications. Thank you all so much!

The techs and doctor was caring and really took very good care of my turtle. They were also professional and polite. They followed up with me to make sure I was able to provide my turtle’s treatments at home; they offered to do the treatments at the clinic if I couldn’t. I will definitely be taking my turtle back to the Animal & Bird Care Center if she needs care in the future.

They know their stuff/ they’re very knowledgeable about exotic animals, small animals, etc., but the staff is not the nicest, most empathetic bunch, and their prices are very high!! After one of my guinea pigs passed away about a month ago while@their facility,under the Vet’s care, they asked me if I wanted them to take my guinea pig’s paw prints,via ink pad, before they wrapped her little body in a special biodegradable paper;But when I asked if that would cost extra, they said,yes,almost $50!! I mean, my little baby just passed away,&I felt like they’re trying to make money off of my grief!!… they couldn’t just offer their sympathies&say, here’s a little keepsake memory-we’re sorry for your loss…but no…they just made it feel weird,&it upset me more the way they handled the whole situation!! And that wasn’t the first time that I encountered that scenario/situation with them; I lost another guinea pig several years back, and they treated me the same way! The only reason I took my small babies there in the first place, was because they are an animal hospital on top of being specialized in dealing with exotic and small animals, etc.,&my regular vet said that my babies needed more,specialized care than they could give@the time(plus I have to have a vet that is specialized in dealing with small, exotic animals);&there are only so many Vet Dr’s @my regular Vet (Bell Veterinary Clinic in Evesham,NJ) that are qualified to deal with small animals. So when my usual Vet Dr, Dr. Jeffrey Bell was unavailable to see my Guinea Pig,Fiona, a little over a month ago, I had NO CHOICE but to bring her to the Animal&Bird Health Care Center& Hospital. BUT, I WOULDN’T RECOMMEND THEM, UNLESS IT WAS/IS TRULY NECESSARY!!!

We had an emergency with our Pigeon and they took us right in. Dr Kupersmith gave Grace a complete exam and they did a blood test. The doctor called himself on a Sunday to tell us Graces test came back good. The whole staff was amazing they really cared about Grace and us. I will never go anywhere else and highly recommend this animal hospital. It’s a far drive but worth it.

Really great staff and doctor on site. The work with domestic and exotic animals, reptiles and birds. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The doctor takes the time to explain what is going on and after care instructions. Great place for our non human friends.

So compassionate and thorough, always provides the best care. Dr. Dazen talked us through a very traumatic accident with our sun conure, and we were able to get her checked out and on medications by a very skilled nurse after hours. Staff continued to follow up with us every other day to ensure Pepper was okay. We are so grateful!

Couldn't be happier!!!! Dr. Kupersmith and Dr. Dazen were absolutely wonderful as well as Cory and Dawn. They spayed my blue and gold macaw Sophie which is a dangerous operation! Dr. Dazen took so much time to explain everything to me in my consultation. I was so pleased with him answering my every question. On surgery day Dawn did her intake and was so very kind and understanding of my nerves and reassured me. I received a call from Dr. K before and after surgery as well as calls from Cory updating me on her status and pickup. The following morning I had some questions and Cory was right there to help me and to get her in just to check and be sure everything was okay with Sophie. They took care of her and we were on our way. I truly am grateful for everyone who works in this office! Everything went smoothly. Everyone, everyone was so kind and sweet right down to the front desk. I did plenty of research before picking this particular vet and had to drive 2 1/2 hours to get there but it was well worth it. I would recommend these people to anyone!
