My wife and I had a very bad experience with this shop while getting her bridesmaid dress hemmed here. The dress was supposed to be finished on a Saturday and my wife went to pick it up on the following Monday (during normal business hours) and she found the shop to be closed with no one in it. Eventually the owner came to open the door, but it turns out the dress had not even been hemmed yet. He offered to finish it for her while she waited, but she didn't have time so she said that I would pick it up the next day. I called the shop that same Monday evening to say I would be by at 11AM (when the shop is supposed to open) the next day to pick up the dress and the owner asked if 11:30 was OK which was fine. I got to the shop at 11:22 (22 minutes after their own stated business hours start) and no one was there with the door locked. By 11:30 the owner did show up and the dress was done, but he made all sorts of excuses about why he wasn't there at 11 and why the dress wasn't done when it should have been. I get that things fall through the cracks with the dress not being ready, but the combination of him twice not being in the shop when it's stated that it should be open, his reluctance to apologize, and no offer for a discount or some sort of resolution for the inconvenience left us with a very bad experience.

Needed a dress done for a wedding was done within 2 weeks and looked great! Very personable and accommodating to your time frame. Also honest if he can't get it done in time
