This has been my Veterinarian for 47 years Dt Cerf was the best in his field. Since this So called Hospital went public it has been beyond a disappointment It's name should just be Ridgewood Vet...They will discredit you and send you and you're beloved animal elsware and then your on your own to make that discussion in 30 seconds..I am Happy that another Animal Hospital was there for my family. I can only say Westwood Hospital has been top notch 👌 3weeks post Bentley Lowell is healing and fine so far, 11 year old Lab that Dr Cerf already did 4 other surgeries on sussesfully!!! and now the 5th at Westwood..Please I never like social media but this needs to be heard. I feel very strongly about this Veterinarian office..Be Careful. 😮💨

Riley 13yrs Old passed Feb 4th at Ridgewood Animal Hospital in New Jersey. With a week of the horrible decision making I’ve had… and surrounded by her loved ones I went back and forth between at home euthanasia and bringing Riley to a vet. It was just horrible. I wish no one has this pain of loosing a pet. I really do it’s just the worst. We ended up taking Riley Feb 3rd to put her to peace here, but we couldn’t let her go yet Megan was so nice. They were so understanding. The following day Megan found her earliest appointment for us and scheduled everything just as I ask which was so important for us. We just wanted her quiet and relaxed. Doctor Heisler and her assistant came in and were so sweet to my girl. As I had my time with Riley before I said my last good bye…I noticed someone put a gauze on her little foot and with the white gauze was a cut out little pink heart gauze piece around her little foot. Broke my heart… it was so sweet. Such a touch of care. While being in Bergen county we have our options of animal hospitals. I believe this will be my Vet for time to come. I thank you all very much and if you are reading this deciding to go.. think no further. God bless all and thank you again to VCA of Ridgewood NJ Below is Riley as a baby- I bottle fed her since day one. Her at her beach house in LBI happy happy. And the gauze which is now my very happy memory of my girl at peace.

Not so thrilled. My little girl was diagnosed given Pills. My little girl couldn't breath. I took her to pitysford emergency they told me she was extremely stressed over medicated and in heart failure Never said by my vet. Ok now what. We can keep her comfortable although her belly is extremely extended. Wait what,.I was just at the vet paid for meds,.,ok do what is needed drive home. phone call. Pasha died. Cardiac arrest. My little girl. I do not recommend this practice or Dr Houska. She was mis diagnosed not properly medicated. Terrible practice Maybe Pasha would still be here And when I called to let them know their patient had passed. I was on hold. Sad practice

I have taken two of my dogs to see Dr. Healey at Ridgewood vet for cold laser treatment. Dr. Healey is amazing and my dogs have responded so well to the laser treatment. The whole staff is kind, patient and friendly. I love bringing my dogs here - I drive from Manhattan to see them.

All of the veterinarians and office staff at Ridgewood Vet are wonderful. We've been taking our cats there for about 15 years, and they've always received thorough and compassionate care. The doctors explain every aspect of your pet's exam when performing it, and are very practical with recommendations for further tests and/or medicines. They call back quickly with test results, and make sure you understand them. The staff has also been there for us when we've had to say goodbye, and they were so caring at every step. I trust this practice and highly recommend its services.

My dog has been a patient at Ridgewood Veterinary Hospital for seven years. I am overjoyed with quality of care. Dr Healey is kind and always spends more time than expected. The boarding facility is wonderful. My dog is boarded at least twice per year. We always know our dog is safe! This is priceless.

Love all the staff and vets at Ridgewood Veterinary Hospital. Have been bringing all my fur babies here for years. Handled with the utmost of care. Just like one of their own. Although pricey, I feel well worth it. Highly recommend.

I wish I could give them 10 Stars because they deserve every star. I've been going to this office since 2010 and always felt that they treated me and my dog like we were family. Dr. Healey and Dr. Hartwick have done so much to keep my dog healthy, happy and well taken care of. Then one day, my dog tore the ligament in her back leg and could not put pressure on it and was in a lot of pain. Dr. Cerf came to her rescue and performed what I call a miracle operation. Although he said that it may take up to 6 months before she is back to normal, I saw her continuously improve and in three months, she was walking without limping. She now acts as if nothing ever happened. Everyone on the staff has been so compassionate and greet us with a smile every time we come in. I'm also using their day care service because I know they will keep a close eye on her because of the major operation she had. I had to leave her in the hospital after her operation for 7 days because it was the week of Christmas and I had lots of family at my house. They were so sweet to take a picture of my dog near their Christmas Tree and e-mail it to me.

Was away having my dogsitted and had an emergency, called last minute on a Saturday and arranged for them to see my dog Kilo. Very friendly and they took care of him in short notice while I wasn't able to from a distance. Thank you, recommend them, very friendly and knowledgeable.

I have used Ridgewood Veterinary Hospital, specifically Dr. Travis Cerf, now for 3 dogs and 1 rabbit. They have always been helpful and accommodating. Every one of my pets has been happy to go to their office. Most importantly, when the difficult time came to have to put down my first dog, they were extremely compassionate and understanding. I have moved further away from the office since I first started going there, but even with the increased drive time I would not think of switching vets.
